Started reading it last night, finished Ch.1; it had me at the illustration, cataloging the buttons...with the library connection, I may just have to get the print edition! I like how quickly it got interesting, weaving the background details into the moving plotline instead of describing Elizabeth's life in a chunk of text.
I was looking for something fun to read, and this looks great. In addition having a group to talk with even better!!!! I just download the book in my nook, and I will start right away... Happy reading!!!!
Thanks to a couple of rainy days, I just finished the book. I really enjoyed it. I only wish it had been a little longer and more detailed in places.
Just finished! It was a fun "light" read, easy to pick up if I left it for a couple of days. Makes me want to read fairy tales again; there were a few mentioned that I'm unfamiliar with.
I'm about half way through. This reminds me of the TV show Warehouse 13 on SyFy channel. Has anyone seen it?
This was a really good book! Very easy to read and I loved the description of the magical objects. I agree that there were some Brothers Grimm fairy tales mentioned that I'm not familiar with and would like to read more into those. It piqued my interest in fairy tales for sure.I do think that some of the events in the resolution felt a little rushed. It seemed like the majority of the book was spent building to the climax but the resolution was very...anticlimactic.
I loved this! One of those books that left you with a little smile on your face when you finished! I remember distinctly feeling like I has discovered something special! I had a hard time liking Marc Merritt's character but loved the others a great deal. I did find myself wishing for much more description--Elizabeth didn't describe those Tiffany windows or Grimm objects to my satisfaction. I'd be shocked if this wasn't already in the works as a screenplay--It looks like something Hollywood would love. Libraries and magic? Sequel please!

I finished reading the book a couple of days ago. I really enjoyed it. It is an easy to read book that make you wish for a job like the one Elizabeth has. I love fantasy book with magic and anventures. This is a fun summer book!
