Is it just me, or is the series "Isles of Glory" by Glenda Larke really similar to the "Beka Cooper" series by Tamora Pierce ?

i have never read the Isles of glory. so i wouldn't know.

If its like the beka cooper trilogy, I just might read it. What is 'isles of glory' about?

Ami I've never read 'Isles of Glory' but I'm always looking for a new author to help me with my TP-fix. ;) It sounds interesting from what David posted. I'll take a look.
