A three sided board in the center of the camp. It gives off all the information like the dorm scheduale and who will be practicing their powers and what cabins will be battling for the next cabin games.

Jake looked up at the board again and checked a few things off of his clipboard that he was clutching in his hand. In the other, Jake was multitasking by holding a pencil and a white foam drink with a straw, sipping from it every few minutes. Since he was one of the main councilors, it was his job to know when and where everything was, even if it wasn't quite his favorite part of his job.
Anilee wandered over to the board. "Oh," she sighed as she looked at the board. She had been attempting to avoid this place, but the sooner she found out the better. She had on jean cut off short shorts and a white v neck tshirt with a bright blue tank top and converse. She had on her ever present black oversized beanie on her head and a lolly pop in her mouth.
Jake wrote down a few more things on his clipboard about all the new students that'd be in his cabin this year. Quite a few actually... Glancing up, he spotted a girl not too far away and wondered who she was. She looked like a newcomer, but he didn't know names and faces together yet, so Jakeseas pretty oblivious to the fact that she was in his cabin. Until then, just a name on the paper. "Need help?" he asked nonchalantly, noticing her look of confusion while taking a sip of his drink.
Anilee looked up at him and shrugged, taking our her lolly pop. "I was just trying to figure out dorms and all that fun stuff," she wrinkled her nose, then smiled at him. She looked at him, he looked a little older than the rest of the people. Maybe he was a counselor? Since he ha a clipboard and he was over here it was a good possibility.
Glancing up at the hundreds of papers hung up around the area, he shrugged, "Well, you've come to the right place. They're right here." Jake said, pointing to the spot he was looking at with the end of his pencil. He wouldn't admit it, but he should have had this done yesterday...oh well.
Anilee looked at all the papers and let put little whistle. "Oh, well thank you very much," she grinned at him. "I'm Anilee, by the way," she said with a flirtatious smile as she walked over to where he was pointing. She looke up at all the papers and bit her lip, "are you a counselor or...?" he was pretty attractive and she would be pretty embarrassed if he wasn't...
Writing down a few more things, he nodded in approvement and slipped it into the bag on his back. The beanie covering his head and his long sleeved shirt blocked out most of the sun, so he could stay out longer. Usually he'd be forced to go back inside by now. Was that just flirting? He smirked, "Yep, that's me. And I actually happen to be your counselor." he said, recognizing her name instantly as one of the ones he'd just written down. "I'm Jake by the way."
Charlotte took a step closer to the familiar bulletin board. "Hey Jake." She half-smiled. "Nice to see you again." She pulled up her jean shorts and adjusted her loose t-shirt and she ran her finger down the papers. "Looks like I'm in Cabin...Two." She smiled. Two was her favorite number. She twirled her purple died hair with her finger. "Hello!" She said to the other girl at the board.
Anilee's blue eyes lit up, "really? So you're Jake, then?" she asked with a bright smile, one that made her dimples deepen. By his smirk, she was pretty sure he knew that she was flirting. She turned, when she heard another voice. "Hi!" she said brightly to the girl who had just came over.
Charlotte smiled brightly. "Nice to meet you. My name is Charlotte. Charlotte Andrews. Do you mind if I talk to Jake alone?" She asked politely. She knew how this looked, but he mind was far away from flirting right now. She blinked curtly and bit her lip, waiting for a reply.
"Yep, that's me. Jake the councelor in chare of cabin 2." he said, giving his full introduction. He'd done it before a lot, now he was pretty use ot it. Seeing Charlotte enter as well, he gave a small wave. "Hey Char," Jake said casually, taking another sip of his drink. Why she wanted to talk to him alone, Jake had no idea.
Anilee narrowed her eyes for less than a second before she nodded. "Excuse me? I was just...but," she shrugged, "whatever. Fine by me," she said, extremely taken aback. "I'm Anilee...I'll see y'all around, though," she replied as she backed up, then turned.
Charlotte turned around to face Jake, but didn't say anything until she was sure Anilee was gone. Instead she waved back. She shoved her hands in her pockets and looked miserably down at her shoes, which were a worn pair of gray converse. She had a pair of skater shoes in her suitcase, but those were for special occasions.
Jake's eyebrows furrowed a bit, "Hey Char, what's the big idea? I was trying to get it know a new cabin member. What could be more important that that I need to be told today of all days?" he asked, wondering what her reasoning was. He was stressed a lot of the time and wasn't actually told there was a problem for five minutes, now what this time? He'd just have to find Anilee later then.
"Look, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to be rude but this can't wait. Do you remember what I told you last summer?" Charlotte stared at him seriously, a pit of worry and fear balling up in her stomach. Her jaw tightened and her hair began to know with all her twirling. She swallowed the large amount of bile that rose to her mouth.
((XD Read her history.))
((XD Read her history.))
((Cool history!))He paused in mid-sip of his drink and glanced around the area they were standing, no one was there at the moment. "Yea, what about it?" Jake asked, wondering what could be so important. It's not like je police had found the camp, that was impossible. But the thing that Jake found funny was that she had told him her entire story in the first place last year, when they were both first years. Why she trusted him with her secret, he had no idea.
((Psh...Thank you. XD))
Charlotte nervously looked around and took a few short breaths. "They found me a couple weeks ago. I was found guilty." She raised her hand to her forehead, trying steady her light-headedness. "Since I'm no longer a minor, I was sent to jail without bail or whatever. No one would have come for me anyway. But I broke out, and I'm pretty sure the police have my picture in every newspaper. This is where I need your help. I can't have anyone here recognize me, but I don't know where else to go." She almost started crying, right then and there. She hated having her whole life (so far) taken from her. All she ever did was run.

His eyebrows creased together, taking another sip of his drink, "I don't think anyone will recognize you. They didn't last year, I don't think they will this time. Even if someone does, I doubt you'll be kicked out." he said reassuringly, taking out a tissue from his pocket and handing of to her. She was in a tough situation, and having a friend probably helped her a lot.
"I wasn't plastered across the New York Times or the Washington Post last year." Charlotte took the tissue but didn't bother wiping her eyes. "I'm sorry I messed up your little flirty moment but I figured this was a little more important than that." She huffed. "Is there any alcohol around?" She asked, crossing her arms. She couldn't go back to jail, and after the summer was over, she was back to running. Might as well stop while she still can.
((Love them dormant crazy chicks. XD))

Thinking for a moment, Jake shrugged. "I don't know, I don't drink any. You might find some in the kitchen thoug if you wanted...but you probably shouldn't, that wouldn't be the best idea at the moment. Just go for a fly for a minute or something, stretch your wings." For anyone else, he would have said 'go for a walk', but Faeries were a bit different.
Charlotte, arms still crossed, made no facial expression or even acknowledged the fact that her wings had just popped out. "There's no point in me staying here, Jake. Maybe if you had iron or something..." She began muttering to herself and listing ways she could die. "Maybe too much human food would make me explode..." She thought out loud.
Jake grimaced, remembering a conversation happening like this not too long ago, "It's better than living out there. You're safe in here, you really need to stop beating yourself up." He really did get worried about her sometimes, she always talked about that sort of stuff and he absolutely hated it. Just the idea that someone would take away their life like that bugged him, and she was thinking about it again, "You really do need to relax, Char. You're fine."
"How can I relax when I'm a wanted criminal!? Let's make a deal. I'll try to stay sane for the rest of the summer, without talking crazy, okay? But in return, you have to take me on a walk whenever I want." Char smiled. Now that that was taken care of, she back to her old flirty faerie self. "Whaddaya say?" She bit her lip, but in a cute way, not a worried way.
Taking another sip of his drink, Jake thought for a moment and readjusted his beanie a bit on his head. It sounded like a reasonable deal, one less thing for him to worry about. "Fine." he raised a finger to show he wasn't done, "But, if it has anything to do with camp leadership responsibilities or breaking curfew rules, I get to say no." That sounded very reasonable, considering he was a counselor, he couldn't just break the rules himself.
"It's a deal." Charlotte held out her hand to make it official. She put on hand on her hip so she looked kind of like a ridiculous superhero with her wings. Oh, Charlotte. "Also, don't call me Lottie." It wasn't a part of the deal, it was just an extra warning. She should probably post it on the board. People had this strange idea in their heads that turning Charlotte into Lottie sounded cool.
Shaking her hand, he nodded, hoping that he wouldn't regret making that deal. She looked like she needs the cheering up though, maybe it'd help her a bit, he was her councelor after all and it was his job to help her where we she needed it. "Lottie? That sounds like a dog name, I'm sticking with Char like I always have." he said, figuring he'd called her Thst since he met her. She hadn't mentioned that nickname.
"That's what I thought. But I learned this past year that other people think differently." Char shuddered. She'd been called Lottie by everyone. Even by the judge who'd declared her guilt. "So what's been up this year? You graduated, right?" She asked, genuinely interested.
Shrugging, Jake started to walk down the path with Charlotte next to him. "Then they have naming problems." he said teasingly, a smirk on his face. He still felt bad for Thst new girl and planned on finding her as soon as he could to straighten things with her. A bit distracted, he didn't answer for a moment, "Hmm? Oh, yea, sure. Like most high school kids that went with me."
Charlotte snorted. "Hey, if you wanna go flirt with that girl from earlier, go ahead. I could tell you guys had something going. I'm gonna go mingle." She squeaked excitedly. Though she really wasn't all that excited to meet new people. But she was excited to see more people from last year though.
He raised an eyebrow accusingly, "Whoever said we had anything going? It's my job to meet all the new people arriving at camp. I have to make sure every person in my cabin stays out of trouble, so I need to get to know all of them pretty well, it's a big job." Honestly, Jake really wasn't thrilled for meeting do many new people, but he would if he had to. "I'll see you around Char, good luck with...everything." He said, continuing down the trail and decided that he needed time out of the sun for a while.
"Whatever you say, Jake. Talk to ya later!" Charlotte called. Yeah, she said she was going to mingle. Then decided not to right after she said it. See? She didn't lie. Char skipped off to find a tree she could bang her head against.
Angelique stretched and stared at the Information Board. "Okay, Cabin Five..." She murmured. She put her hands on her hips, her signature whistle hanging from her neck. Her brown hair was pulled back into a swingy pony-tail.
Kaden walked to the information booth type thing, scanning the lists for names he recognized. Too bad people weren't listed with what species they were. It might have been interesting to see if there were any other demons here. Of course he had hoped for the same thing last year, only to be disappointed. Plus...every other demon he had met thus far had been a full one--therefore completely evil. No exaggeration needed.
Karina found herself in the Information booth thingy. She hadn't seen her roommate yet and was wondering if she just hadn't shown this yea. She quickly scanned it and cocked her head,so she was here. But why hadn't she seen her? Oh Well! She looked to her side and saw Kaden. "Hey,"She greeted him with a nod.
Kaden's eyes flashed over to Karina, and he smiled politely. "Hey." he replied, following the papers behind the glass with his finger tips. Ah. His first practice wasn't for another couple of days. Weren't people finished settling in? He sighed, shaking his head. Newbies.
Karina nodded and bit her lip,she didn't know whether to talk to him or to stop annoying him, or she thought she annoyed him. So after a while she decided to try to talk to him a little bit more,"So what are you doing here?"She asked smiling.
Kaden gave her a sidelong glance, raising his eyebrows in a way that suggestion he thought she was up to something. "Looking at the schedules...that is what people do when they come to the information center." he said imploringly, turning to face her. "So pray tell, what could Karina want from Kaden?" he asked, using third person.
"Yes,but different schedules show different things. So I was just wandering what you were looking at particular." Karina smiled at him," What does Karina want from Kaden?Nothing that other can't give, Karina wants some fun. And she was hoping you could help her have fum."
"Hey, you two! What's up?" Angel asked, putting on a cheerful face. She waved slightly. She cocked her head as well, recognizing Kaden, but not the girl talking to him. She blinked expectantly as she removed her hand from TE campers list.
Kaden had been about to answer her, he'd already had his comeback ready. But then he was distracted be Angel. And the fact the she was an angel. They always had the weirdest effects on him, making his fingers twitch. His eyes had dilated and were tinged red when he caught her gaze, "Nothing much." he said curtly, tilting his head do the side.
Karina side and pouted. She was talking to Kaden and then an angel literally ruined the whole mood thing they had going on. She looked at the girl blankly she had no idea who she was,"Do I know you?" she looked at Kaden sideways, his eyes...Was he angry?
"Did I ruin something? Because I was kind of here before you guys." Angel said sweetly to Karina, then half smiled at Kaden. "Have you found your counselors yet?" She asked them both. She, again, blinked expectantly.
Kaden blinked, turning back into his normal self. His eyes went back to the deep brown they had been before, and he actually returned her half smile with a genuine one of his own. "You didn't ruin anything, we were talking about the lists." he said, dropping his shoulders in a shrug. "And yeah. Year two, I'm not stupid."
Karina put on a smile but said nothing. That girl was way too sweet and nice fore her liking. this is why she doesn't interact with many angels, at least Angel Boy had some spunk."I just asked him a question,"She told her.
"Alright then. And Kaden, I'm sorry. There are just so many new faces this year, its just so hard to keep track. Good to see you." Angel nodded. She turned to Karina. "Hope you guys have a great summer!" She smiled. She turned back to the list she was looking at before.
(If we keep posting in a three way RP, this order totally works;) )) Kaden shrugged, it wasn't really that big a deal. At least she tried to be polite. Most counselors blew you off if you weren't in their cabin, refusing to give you the time of day. "No blood no foul." he marked, flashing his teeth in a smile. He glanced at Karina from the corner of his eyes in wonder...why was she so rude?
Angel looked over at them again from the corner of her eye. "So what've you been up to? Not planning any camper pranks yet, are you?" She smirked. Last year, she could remember a few kids who were always pulling pranks on the other campers, even a few of the counselors. Good times. Although she was never any part of the pranks themselves, they were pretty enjoyable after a few weeks.
Karina smile slyly when she remembered the pranks she was talking a bout. Of course she was involved,"Hmmm not yet,"She told her showing off her teeth. She should do some more pranks but later not now. "What about you Kaden? Involved in any pranks? Any naughty thing?"
