Okay, so let's have all the characters start in...I dunno, Chicago. And it'll be...summer. Okay. You can move around from here, but at least Chicago is a starting point.

Full name: Shane Cole
Nickname: N/A
Gender: Male
Age: 17
Appearance : Shane is about 5'7" and is pretty-well built, especially in his arms. He has wind-swept brown hair and shaggy bangs that manage to stay out of his eyes on their own. He has evenly-tanned skin and a six-pack, but doesn't necessarily show it off. His eyes create a natural look to him, being a sparkling leaf green.
Personality: Shane is more reserved and speaks to others on a "need-to-talk" basis. He is pegged as the strong and silent type, and prefers to travel only with his little sister. He won't hesitate to leap into action during a crises or a dangerous situation, and will always put the ones he loves before himself. When he's around others, though, he's a natural leader, and once you get through his wall, you'll find he's caring and pretty kind, though bitter and unfriendly when first met. He's protective of his sister and will do anything for family, and refuses to get sidetracked from his main mission: shooting down as many aliens as he possibly can.
History: Shane grew up in Chicago, so he knows all the little nooks and crannies of the city. His parents were kind and treated him well, and he was always close to his family. Though, being a normal teenager, he pretended like he wanted nothing to do with them during high school. He was always popular among his friends in school but didn't say much when they began to pick on younger kids. Then, one day, his friends unknowingly began to tease his sister, and that's where he drew the line. After that, most of his friends didn't want anything to do with him, and he began to be the lone wolf he is now. When the aliens struck Earth, he knew exactly what his duty was, and soon enough, he and his sister were sent to a nuthouse. He busted himself and his sister out, and made it his quest to fight off the aliens and earn his parents' respect back once again - if they weren't already dead.
Family: Klarissa Cole (Little sister)
Weapons: An axe he stole from a weapon's shop and a pistol.
Skills: He has incredible aim with his gun, and is determined to protect his sister, which makes him an even more formidable opponent. He is a natural leader and can swim well.
Other: Shane's one goal is to defend his city from the aliens, and he is unaware that they are landing everywhere in the world.


Full name: Klarissa Cole
Nickname: Klare, sometimes Kiki by her brother
Gender: Female
Age: 8
Appearance : Klarissa is a petite little girl with a round face and piercing stone blue eyes. She has pale skin and her cheeks are often dusted with a light blush. Her lips are a light pink, and she always seems to be wearing sky blue, her favorite color. Klare is unusually tall for an eight year-old, standing at 4'11".
Personality: Klarissa is very timid and often doesn't speak to somebody unless she's known them for awhile. She used to be quite chatty and adorable, but once she began to see the aliens, she became frightened by them. She is highly dependent on her brother, but if he or somebody she cares about gets hurt, she will try her hardest to fight with them, even if does little to no good. She's a spirited soul with a strong will, even if she's shy often.

Weapons: A dagger that she's normally afraid to use. Also, she carries around a box with Dora band-aids, just in case anybody gets hurt.
Skills: Her compassion could be considered a skill. :P She can braid hair. And can tie knots fairly well.
Other: This whole alien-takeover thing scares her to death, but she tries to stay strong and fight alongside Shane. Also, she has a pet Yorkshire Terrier puppy named Pepper who travels with them.

Full name: Ginger Johnson
Nickname: Gigi
Gender: Female
Age: Fifteen
Appearance : She's small but has a layer of muscle on her legs and arms. She has curly auburn hair and bright brown eyes. [image error]
Personality: Ginger can be sarcastic and cold, normally regarding those she meets with her fiery temper. She has a sharp tongue and isn't afraid to fight. She is strong-willed and will never back down.
History: Gigi was separated from her younger sister when a year ago, the first time she spotted an alien. Her sister had kept quiet about the sighting, but being as outspoken as is she is, Ginger had practically shouted to the world about it, wishing someone would listen. She was sent to an insane asylum by her parents, since they were worried about her when she kept persisting that aliens existed. Her sister, afraid of her parents by this point, ran away from home. Ginger escaped the asylum recently and is now searching for her sister. It's the only thing she cares about, and she doesn't care who gets in her way.
Family: Lost to the aliens.
Weapons: A Winchester rifle
Skills: She can run pretty quickly and can shoot well.
Other: The only thing she cares about is her sister, who she is determiend to find.

Personality: Abby is the kind of girl who is always searching for trouble. She is not unkind but isn't very affectionate either. Not interested in boys (may change if the right guy comes along)She is super smart. She wears glasses (view spoiler)[ (hide spoiler)]Abby is an inventor she is constantly pushing her pink glasses up her nose when she thinks. It's kinda adorable.
History: She has been scarred several times by the aliens. They have given her two distinct markings (view spoiler)[ > (hide spoiler)] She doesn't remember anything before the alien invasion. She thinks the aliens may have done something to her. She intends on figuring out what happened and regaining her memory.

Weapons: She has a gun that shoots pieces of iron. She also has a rifle that shoots regular bullets. She has an iron crowbar she uses for close up fighting.

Full name: Brooke Brown

Age: 13
Appearance: Her long, curly dark brown hair (almost a black) and blue eyes make her look very pretty. Even though she is really tall, she seems normal to others because of her slouch. She is often mistaken as older, though, because of the way she acts.

Personality: Brooke is very calm, patient, and sometimes even looks bored. She likes to listen and would much rather follow than lead. She is really nice, although she isn't afraid to hurt someone if she has to. She is into quite a lot of things, including building, reading, and sewing. She is almost always willing to try new things, and she loves to learn.
History: Born and raised in Ireland, Brooke loved making friends and seeing new things. She had quite a few very good friends. Her parents were very rich, and they were living in a mansion. Unfortunately, her father lost his job and they were forced to go somewhere else. That place happened to be Sweden. Brooke didn't really like this new place, she was having trouble making friends, and was falling behind in school. Her parents realized that she wasn't in the right place, and so they moved over to the United states, where hopefully she would fit in. When in Oregon, she seemed to be fitting in a lot better-- and she was getting good grades again. Her parents were happy, and Brooke was too. When the aliens arrived, he parents were killed and luckily for Brooke, she wasn't. She was at school, and when she went home, she was surprised to see her home completely destroyed.
Family: She has no siblings, and her parents were killed or were captured by the aliens.
Weapons: A bow and arrow; keeping the aliens far away is good.
Skills: Very good at climbing and running. Not so well at strength.

Full name: Dean Xander Martinez
Nickname: Dean
Gender: Male
Age: 17
Appearance : A strong love for working, Dean is a stock, short boy(approximately 5 feet 6 inches) with a heavy build. Having always been the runt of his house(though he is a powerful little guy) he has learned to couple his strength with above average speed, moderate agility, and(weirdly) excellent endurance. He has brown hair, dark blue eyes that border on gray, and a thin, rare half-smile. He has broad shoulders and a thick waist, as well as a muscular body over all, though he does have some fat on his stomach. He loves the color red and always, whether hot or cold, wears a thick red jacket. Underneath that he usually has a thin black shirt and either jeans or a sports shorts on.
Personality: Prone to rage almost always, he has a perpetual scowl on his face that almost always marks his anger. When not angry, he is usually somber. Rarely is he prone to smile, for his moods are almost always a dark brooding. He prefers to lead but will follow when someone else presents themselves as a better leader. While he doesn't mind talking to people, he also enjoys sitting alone. He loves animals. His animals.
History: Part of a family of athletes from every line, he has trained his entire life to fight(box/MMA), run fast(track), throw far(field), and hit hard(football). His family doesn't have a member under six feet tall and he's the only one who isn't already above the six foot line. In fact, they're sure he's done growing. He is almost always working out, training, or reading alone. His body has always been pushed to the limit and while he has never given up on anything physical, his anger has gotten him into fights he couldn't win and gotten him into trouble hundreds of times. He has picked up on all of his family's skills and gotten decent at almost every event, though he is the strongest high schooler in the state.
Family: His parents were college athletes, father in football and track/field, mother for track/field and gymnastics. HIs little brother is the best Defensive line man in the state and his older brother the second fastest 100 meter dash runner in the state. His sister is the fastest miler in the state and fourth in the country and the third best Pole Vaulter in the state.
Weapons: He will use anything he can get his hands on or, if he can't find anything, he will brutally attack anything in his way with his fists.
Skills: He is a jack of all trades when it comes to athletics and he is fairly smart. He can fight and run but his aggressiveness often gets him into trouble.
Other: Often gets into trouble and has little to no control over his anger.

Appearance : Serena has long, curly orange hair. Ginger used to have naturally red hair the same color as Serena, until she died it darker. (See her picture). Serena has pale skin and is 5'6". Her family was always natural on the side. She has the same brown eyes as Ginger.
Personality: Serena is the calm sister and the more reasonable and understanding one. She's timid and feels alone without her sister. She's determined to help anyone in trouble as best she can, and is open to everyone she meets.
History: See Ginger's.
Family: Ginger Johnson (Sister), and the rest are dead.
Weapons: Bow and arrow
Skills: She was always fascinated in medical studies, and is almost like a nurse.
Other: Serena thinks Ginger was killed by an alien, and doesn't really want to find her anymore.

Appearance : Scotia is 5'4". She has dark blond hair and brown eyes. She wears glasses, although she doesn't really need them. She has a scar above her knee that she got when she fell off her horse. She normally wears jeans and a long-sleeved shirt.

Personality: Scotia is not what you would call a social person. She doesn't make friends easily. She would rather be alone with her pets. She doesn't talk about her feelings a lot and keeps to herself. She learned to not talk about how she could see the aliens after someone threatened to lock her up in an insane asylum. She's smart, all A's in her class. As a warning, don't call her Scottie. She won't like you for that.

History: Scotia was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. She was named after the province. Her parents moved to Wyoming when she was three and lived on a cattle ranch. There, she learned to ride horses and shoot guns. Her dad would teach her how to fix cars. She would spend all day out on the range with her horse. When she was twelve, her parents decided that it was time to move to Chicago so Scotia could be near her grandparents. 

Family: None, they died in the invasion.

Weapons: A rifle

Skills: Scotia can sew, cook, and fix vehicles.

Other: She has a German Shepherd named Murphy. The dog looks after her and doesn't trust people.
