Cool! Thanks for making your own topic and in the right folder :D That's what I like. Especially since they seem YA.
Emma - SKYE BLUE would be most appropriate for adults or older teens, because it contains swearing and drug-related situations. WHAT SOME CALL HEAVEN would also be most appropriate for teens and adults. - Nicki

I thought of this group specifically because you refer to yourselves as "Crazy people", and my two books both involve characters who are considered crazy.
In SKYE BLUE, the 14-year-old narrator might be considered "emo" to some people. She is being raised by her older brother, who has taken her out of school because she was in special education as a child and had a terrible time there. The two of them are homeless most of the time. The older brother has many problems, and Skye has to cope with all of the crazy things that happen because of this. Skye also has an anxiety disorder, and she frequently cuts herself to help calm herself down in the height of her panic. Its 305 pages, and is a story that is dear to my heart!
The second character, in WHAT SOME CALL HEAVEN, is another young girl who is considered crazy. TJ is thought to be crazy when she shows up at a homeless shelter, claiming to be an angel. Of course, nobody believes her. In fact, some of the staff members want to have her committed to a psychiatric hospital. This book is only about 75 pages, an easy read!
I would send you pdf files or word docs of whichever book you want, and you could read it, and then post a review on Amazon. Again, you don't have to try and flatter me... give your honest opinion.
If you're interested, please email me, or reply to this message. THANKS!
