YA :-) discussion

Im not sure about the rest of this group, but I love Stephenie Meyer's books. I just read The Host and I thought it was awesome!!!!! I also read the Twilight saga and I really liked it. I was just wondering if anyone else liked stephenie meyers books?

I love The Twilight saga! The books are brilliant. I just hate the films.

I agree with Emma. Team Edward. I wish she would write the rest too. I sorta wish I hadnt read whay she put on her website though because now I know how good it is and I want more. It annoys me that it stops halfway through!

I've read all of her published work. I definitely side with Edward. And I have to reread The Host. I've read it twice and a third.

I realy liked the Host. Have you read the rest of the series?

The other two aren't out yet. That I know of, anyway.

yeah i've been thinking about reading the host but didn't know if it was any good. i think considering what has been said i will. and just so you know i'm with joelene. go team jacob/taylor lautner!

oooooo.. does anyone else here ever notice that they always seem to think that the people should get paired up different/opposite of how they do? for example in the hunger games i'm team gale or in the twilight saga i'm team jacob.

I've read everything she's published.The interviews, the novels, Bree Tanner. I like her writing and think that her producing gig is pretty nifty, too. Can't wait for the adaptation of Shannon Hale's Austenland she produced. The book is atypically wonderful smart chick-lit so it should be awesome.

Well, sometimes, but in the case of the two books you said, no because I am totally Team Edward and team Peeta. But ya, I get what you are saying.

oh, ya. I havnt read any of shannon Hales books, but I agree about her production jobs. I also read The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner and I really liked it!

really? why are you team peeta? i mean i kinda think she and and peeta are right but if it was me writing i would have put her with gale. plus how can peeta even trust her when their relationship started out as just a way to get sponsors and then she just let him think it was real until he realized it wasn't?
i also kinda understand the whole edward thing.imean they do go good together but it always seemed to me that jacob was just well.....there for her more often and that.... i don't know.... easier to get along with.

I do understand what you're saying about Peeta and Gale. But I do say I'm team Edward too same as Annie :)

I've not read The second short life of bree tanner. I just thought there was not point really, she wasn't much of a memorable character plus she dies so... *Shrugs*
But I do really want to read Midnight Sun! :D

im not saying Jacob and Gale are bad, its just I personally like Edward and Peeta better and would choose them for myself. I mean, you could pretty much tell that Bella was going to pick Edward, but with Katniss, It was really hard for me to tell which one she would end up with.

y, it was kinda a bummer to know that the main character was going to die at the end of the book, but it was still really good and you got to see what all the newborn army was up to and what it was like from the perspective of a normal, human hunting vampire.

ya, i think most people that are on team edward are also on team peeta, and that people that are on team jacob are also on team gale.
it makes sense because jacob/gale are both the best friends, that are in love with bella/katniss, and peeta/edward are the people bella/katniss met and fell in love with.

i can't decide who I like better, i'm on team jakeward/ geeta, love em all!!

i love stephenie meyer books, i haven't read the host yet, but it is 2 on my to read list, it looks really good

I read all of her books. I think the host is her best book, also because I didn't really like twilight. I just didn't feel it and it was way too cheesy for me.

Ya, for a while i was obsessed with twilight (not proud of that :) But I totally agree that the host is better

Are they making more books in the Host series?

There's actually 2 more books in the host series that are supposed to come out.

Yes!!!! I love her books. I haven't read The Host yet, but i own it and am planning to read it really soon. Back to the Twilight Saga. That is my favorite series! I love everything about it :D
