Betty Starting in the A's! That's the way!

message 3: by Melissa (new)

Melissa Eisenmeier (carpelibrumbooks) | 32 comments I think alphabetical is a good way to go, although I've been a little less organized, adding books as I decide which ones might make good books.

message 4: by Betty (new)

Betty Me, too. There's a bit of serendipity in the way I'm going about this task.

message 5: by Susan (new)

Susan Left Kansas after reading Doc( completed was excellent) then realized I had not completed my list. Library bound!

Louise | 89 comments Let us know what you find :-)

message 7: by Susan (new)

Susan Finished Gone Girl for Missouri. The book was so-so but it was a decent book for Missouri. It was not my original choice for that state but as I read it I realized it fit quite well.

message 8: by Jayme (new)

Jayme I was thinking about reading it for Missouri, but I'm not a big fan of thriller books. Does it have a lot of "icky" - as in blood and knives and stuff - scenes?

message 9: by Susan (new)

Susan There is no body if that helps ....

message 10: by Susan (new)

Susan Have not updated this in quite some time. I have recently finished The Orchardist for Washington state and Silken Prey for Minnesota. Would highly recommend both.

message 11: by Thomas (new)

Thomas (thomasathogglestock) | 9 comments The Jungle is a really good choice for Illinois. Sums up so much about Chicago's place in US history.

message 12: by Susan (new)

Susan The Jungle does look like a good choice. Thank you for the recommendation.
