Here is where Healers all hang out and talk to each other.

Benjamin huffed and swung his duffel back off of his shoulder , putting it on the floor . He took out his map of the school from his black jeans pocket , and unfolded it .
" Great ", he mumbled sarcastically ," It's bigger and fuller with people than my grandparents told me ". He shook his head in annoyance and went to sit on one of the comfy chairs .

Leo walked slowly into the common room, trying to take it all in. "Well, isn't this... Something," he said to himself, wondering what he'd gotten himself into now.

Carmen walked in and sat on one of the couches. She saw a dying flower wondering why no one had helped it. She made it grow and bloom smiling as she watched the rose.

Goddess, it's quiet here, Leo thought sitting in one of the chairs, taking out one of his books from home. He swung his legs over the side and started to read Tuck Everlasting, since it was one of his favorite classics.

Benjamin saw people walk in and saw a girl heal a dying flower . He shook his head and said ," We aren't allowed to use our powers without supervision you know ", he mocked .

Leo laughed quietly, turning the page of his book. "Yes, but if others are around you are supervised," he mumbled, reading on down the page.

Benjamin nodded ," Very true , smart ass ". Benjamin sat there , bored , he took out his cigarettes and put on in his mouth , then lite it . He closed his eyes as he sucked in the smoke , it felt so good , it was like a pain killer .

Leo looked up from his book, faking flattery. "Thank you, I've been told my ass is a genius," he said sarcasticly, burying his nose back in his book. "You shouldn't smoke, you know. Wastes money." Ah, Tuck. So clever, letting Winny come with you, he thought.

Benjamin puffed out smoke ," Oh really ?", he said sarcastically , and with a bright face , looking as of he was actually interested . He dropped the fake act and said ," It's money I can afford to loose ".

"Yeah, okay, whatever," Leo mumbled, turning the page to his book, rolling his eyes.

Benjamin chuckled under hi breathe ,and then looked at the boy he had called smart ass and said ," What are you in here for ?"

"Yeah well anyway it seemed kind of silly not to heal it if I could," she said. She leaned back on the couch closing her eyes.

"Bored," Leo said, shrugging his shoulders and setting down his book. He looked at the boy smoking and raised an eyebrow at him. "What are you here for?"

Benjamin puffed out more of his cigarettes smoke and said ," I'm here for many things . Vandalism , violence , joy riding , getting thrown out of schools and oh , drug dealing ". Benjamin shrugged and then looked at the girl ," What about you ? What are you here for ?"

Leo chuckled, shaking his head. "Sounds like my sixteenth birthday," he mumbled, supressing laughter.

Benjamin chuckled ," That birthday must have been awesome ". Benjamin had never really celebrate his birthdays , wasn't one of his things , he did really like to .

"Not when your sisters are the ones that are high," Leo said, grinning. "And they won't share the pot." He never really got to do anything that night, besides the vandlizing and theft, which they almost got caught doing.

Benjamin laughed ," I'm sure you do other things , something to get you in this school ". Because everyone had a story , to some it was a secret and to some practically everyone knew

Leo shook his head, grinning, but a little less enthusiastic. "No, I really didn't. I came here because I have three brothers and four sisters," he said. "I couldn't stand it anymore."

Benjamin laughed even louder and leaned back on the sofa ," So your telling me you came here for fun ? ".

"No. Well, sort of. I got tired of regular classes," Leo said, shaking his head and closing his eyes. The only class he enjoyed was science, and he passed that early. "Besides, I couldn't even show off what I was. A wizard. Very dull."

Benjamin nodded in agreement ," My grandparent didn't let me but that didn't stop me from showing a few tricks up my sleeve ", Benjamin grinned and then said ," The girls in my school would go crazy , if you know what I mean ".

Leo rolled his eyes, even though his eyelids were closed. "Yeah, I know what you mean. Just wouldn't happen to me," he said, smirking. "Girls don't like me much. I'm too smart; book wise, that is."

Benjamin laughed , " Dude my school is full of desperate girls , the smartest people in that school sometimes even get the hottest girls , that's how crazy it is ".

Leo opened one of his eyes, raising an eyebrow. "Seriously? Damn," he said, chuckling. "At mine, it's full of night crawlers and sluts. Or nerds and normals."

Benjamin smirked ," You've just been going to the wrong school . But I bet this ones going to be a lot of fun ". Fun as in parties , drinks , girls , magic and more girls .

Leo nodded. "I just really hope there's no freakin' night crawlers," he said, grinning. He really hated them, with their tattoos on their cheekbones and peircings in their noses. It was just wrong, in Leo's opinion.

Benjamin nodded ," I guess . But you have magic , use it to it's full . I've never really had them track me or anything ". Benjamin thought about his gone his whole life without seeing a night crawler , and how his life had been peaceful . But of course when his parents were gone his grandparents taught him about them .

Leo set down Tuck on the table next to him. "I used to. Before my mom made me stop. She said it 'wasn't fair' that out of all my siblings, I was the one that was special. I say special, because I don't wanna use the words she said," he said, kicking off his shoes and laying full out on the couch.

" Ouch . Thats a buzz kill , well now you can use it as much as you like . The teachers can't really stop us because it's their job to help us with magic . Oh and did you hear we all get our own dragon? " Benjamin smirked slightly ," How awesome is that ?"

Leo laughed, grinning a little. "I guess you're right. With the magic and dragon thing. Both pretty nice. But you know what I wish?" he asked, mostly just because he was glad he was getting along with someone. And, since he was comfortable, he felt that if this guy was going to be around him, he might as well be himself.

Carmen looked up from the book she was reading and sniffed. "Do I smeel smoke?" She asked.

Benjamin looked at Carmen and laugh , " Yeah sorry about that ". He put out his cigarette and smiled apologetically . " Hey bookworm what are you in here for ?"
Then he looked at his new friend and said " What?" to ask what he did wish for .

Carmen bit her lip acting as if she hadn't heard the question.

"I just wish that people won't judge healers as sissys. You're proof of a tough one," Leo said, closing his eyes and resting his arm over his eyes.

Benjamin raised his eyebrows at the girl and laughe ," Oh come on , everyones in here for a reason and I'm guessing your reason is bigger then both of ours ". He motioned to himself and Leo . He then looked at Leo again and said ," Dude ! What do you wish for ?"

Benjamin nodded ," The other kinds think we are just pussys but what can you do ? Just prove them wrong right ? We got hard magic too ".

"No actually not really my parents hate me using magic even though there wizards," she muttered.

"At least yours are," Leo mumbled, thinking of the day he found out. The corn was dying and all he did was touch a leaf and an ear of corn grew. They freaked out.

Benjamin laughed at the girl ," Wow okay so your parents don't like you doing magic but they sent you to a wizards school ? Where they teach you magic ?" Benjamin raised his eyebrows and smirked ," Take advantage of your powers because if people knew they would want it , we have powers guys . Do you know how crazy that sounds ?".

Carmen looked down. "I healed....ah there was a tree in my village roots that spread to the outer walls I um healed it because it was dying they said I went too far with magic and needed to know the consequences of what kids ended up like if they used it too much," she muttered.

Benjamin shook his head ," Look Carmen -", he then looked at her name tag to see if he got it right ," You were born this way , why should you be ashamed or keep it a secret ? Because your parents told you to ? Yah know what , your too much of a good girl ". Benjamin leans back on the couch and put his booted feet up on the table .

Carmen grimaced. "No you don't understand before I started wearing this stuff," she said pausing to look down at her blue skirt and white polo shirt. "I wore tight leather pants Jean jackets shorts anything but this," she said miserably. "I used to be..." she trailed shaking her head. She didn't wanna bring up her past.

"Rebelious?" Leo finished for her, raising an eybrow, though they couldn't see it, with his face covered by his arm.

Benjamin smirked ," Than start dressing how you want to dress ! Your parents aren't here . This boarding school thing is actually a good thing , they think they are making it harder but really this could be so much fun if you use it to advantage ".

Carmen sighed. "Fine you guys wanna see the real me," she muttered she got up placing her book on the couch she walked out of the room to go change shaking her head.

Benjamin grinned ," About time ".
Then he looked at Leo ," Why are you so quiet , huh ?"

Carmen came back in dressed completely different. She had tight black leather pants that hugged her every curve and a belly shirt showing off her tan flat stomach and a belly button ring. She had her hair down put of it's ponytail dark waves falling to her waist. She sat on the couch Kicking nh her feet on the table showing off leather boots. Her face had an expression of I'm hot and I know it. She arched a brow blue eyes amused sticking nh out her tongue she wiggled it a stud in it. She took her feet off the table leaning forward soft pink lips turning up in a smirk.

Benjamin starred open mouthed at Carmen ," Now that , is what I'm talking about ". Benjamin nodded and smirked ," Damn , you do look different . But in a really really good way ".
