Out of the norm we had pet 'rats', I'm hearing you, yuck - I would have said the same, but getting them as babies they weren't scary and OMG they had their own personalities AND were toilet trained and loved attention!!

Normal I guess, love our two cats, that never bothered our rats... yeah I've had a wine or two, lol.

Exotics I guess would be anything other than a dog, cat, bird, or fish. Ferrets, rats (and I hear they do make excellent pets, I can't have them too many of the normal pets that would invite for dinner.)
