Hunger Games Trilogy discussion

Welcome tributes to the 33rd anual hunger games!! this years theme is *drumrole* .......

THE TEN PLAGUES! if you dont know what they are its a biblical story were a pharoh of egypt had lots of jews in slavery and their god sent a messenger to warn him saying if he doesnt let them go there will be ten plagues but he kept on refusing after every plauge where it got to the point were the last plague killed his son and he set them free

 1.plague of blood: all the water turns to blood.
2. The plague of frogs: the place is over run with frogs. 

3. The plaugue of knats/lice: they all got knats/lice that the could not get rid of .

4. Plague of flies/wild animals:animals attacking people. 

5:all animals die. 

6: plague of boils: everyone got boils. 
 
7: plague of hail: massive hail storms mixed with fire kill of all crops 

8. Plague of locusts: the place was overun with locusts. 

9 plague of darkness : the whole of egypt fell into darkness . 

10. The angel of death : all the egyptians first born children died. 

Now some of theese wouldnt effect tributes so we changed them slightly 

*the lice and locusts will devour a tribute at our command. 
*the angel of death will kill any tribute off 
*the animals dead the tribute will eat it unaware the plague poisened it 

 1 tribute dies each plaugue everyones name will be put in a hat and the tributes name drawn out will be the one who dies from the plague. you will all have to fight aswell but the to make sure its as fair as the hunger games can be. no favouritism in these games;)! 

The last  plague will kill off more than one tribute if needed to bring us down to the final 2 

the way you fight a tribute is that the game makers will have numbers already then both tributes will pick a number between 1-1000 the closest to the gamemaker wins the fight and will have to kill the other tribute in the most dramatic way possible. You can bring a fight up yourself if you wish. Just ask the other person first

 in the north there is a forest with 1 water source 
in the south there is mountains with two water sources but more mutts, 

the cornucopia is in the middle of a field it has

 4 tridents
 5 sets of knives 
3 bows and full quivers
8 spears 
2 axes 
2 swords
surrounded in 24 bright yellow packs that are medium size. The contain food supplies, a blanket, some extra clothes, and an empty canteen. A select 6 have a first aid kit in them as well. I will tell you who that is. 

rules:
 if you are not on for 3-4 days you are automatically dead if you hae a legit reason message payton and she may reserve you a spot in the next arena.
 Dont post unrelated hunger games topics. Dont post in the arena if not participating in the games its not cool and it will be deleted and most importantly HAVE FUN!!;)

Riley sprints the moment that the gong rings and aims for the back packs. He grabs his and then gets a bow and a trident. Running away, he spots an axe and immediately grabs it. He makes way to the water fall, waiting for his team.

Kylie looks around in panic as everyone runs in front of her. She has to push a tribute away just so she can make it there and get something worthwhile.
She grabs a back pack and a sword. She sees two packs of knives and grabs them, sticks them in her backpack and runs.

Callum stood on his circle, hastily getting his bearings. He had 60 seconds. He looked to the north, forest and a lake. Directly in front, the cornucopia in a field. To the south, mountains, and what looked like maybe an area where there could be water. He looked for Sonnet. She was to his left, two pods over. Their eyes met. Callum unobtrusively gestures towards the forest. He saw her acknowledge the gesture. The countdown was coming to an end. Callum readied himself. 5, 4, 3, 2, 1! The gong sounded and Callum was running. He had been holding back in training. He was an extremely fast runner, you had to be to if you trained against cantering horses. He was one of the first to reach the cornucopia. He grabbed a backpack, and bow and arrows. He swung them onto his shoulders as he ran towards Sonnet. As he ran, a knife thrown by one of the tributes cut his right upper arm. It was only a flesh wound but it was still noticeably bleeding. He ignored it and kept running toward Sonnet.

I will post how many weapons are left after a tribute takes them until they are gone.

willem runs to the cornicupia when all of the tribtes start running. He grabs a set of knives, a spear and a backpack and heads towards the forest to make camp. Once in the forest he looks through his bag takes one look at his locket and looks around to make sure that there are no more tributes and crashes in his sleeping bag

Justece is going to be away today and tomorrow and she asked me to post this...

Renya's eyes hardened as the gong sounded and she sprinted to the cornicopia. She grabbed a bow and spear. Then ran and grabbed a pack. She slowed to watch for her allies, then ran not far from the blood bath and his behind a tree waiting for her alliance.

Graci ran in she wasnt really sure why she needed to, but her 'helper' as she called him told her to get as much supplies as she could without getting hit... so she got a set of knives, a bow and a quiver of arrows and a backpack and took off running looking for her 'friends' (allies)

Sonnet ran towards the cornucopia as soon as the gong sounded. She had seen Callum running towards it and had decided to follow him. Sonnet couldn't run as fast as Callum, but she arrived soon after him. She grabbed a backpack, a set of knives, and a sword. She found Callum there soon. "What do we do?"

(((amity kitty, do you want to head to the mountains or the forest? I kind of think the forest, but there are a lot of people heading there, so whatever you want to do I'll go with)))

November dashes to the cornocopia and sees there's not much stuff left to grab. Crap! She sees Three tridents and grabs Two and a yellow bag, then hides in the forrest waiting for her allies.



Daring gets to the cornocopia and grabs a yellow backpack and the remaining axe as well as 2 spears He finds November and together they move towards the lake in the North.

(( I would say forest. There is a better chance of survival for us there! :) ))

"Let's head for the forest! We need to put as much distance from the other tributes from us as we can. Run!" Callum ran alongside Sonnet. They avoided going where they saw other tributes heading, and they finally reached the forest edge. "Let's get as deep into the forest as we can get," said Callum as they ran. "Once we get a little further in we can slow down to save energy."

James is blinded by the sun as hhis podium rises. The minute seems like only seconds and soon he is running for the last trident and a small back pack hidden I n the grass. He looks for the rest of his pack and spots them, he cautiously heads for them while watching his back and makes it to them awaiting their nex move.

Willem was briskfully awoken by two tribute running it the forest towards his camp he contemplates whether to run or befriend them. when he can see there faces he sees the two tributes he saw in the training center that he saw was kind of nice there was Callum and sonnet he knows he can befriend them. "wait wait i am not going to hurt you i see you have formed an alliance can i possibly join.

(((heya Hannah, sonnets a girl, so you might want to edit your post. :) We are originally all in the Peeta alliance, and amitykitty didn't have a problem w another person, we just isn't have anyone we wanted to ally ourselves to rp with in the training center, so sure you can join us. That's okay right amitykitty?)))

Callum stopped. It was the tribute from District 6. He was the same age as them, and had never seemed like a threatening person in the training center. To the other tributes anyways, the Capitol people were a different matter entirely. Callum looked from Willem to Sonnet. "Sure, fine with me. We could probably stand a better chance against the careers if there's three of us. Sonnet?"

Sonnet stared at the boy. He looked like he could be useful. "I agree," she nodded. She stuck her hand out so that he could shake it. "Welcome aboard."

Willem took sonnets hand and shook it "Thanks the more the merryier what are all the weapons you have

Callum gestured to his shoulder. "A bow and a quiver of arrows. That's what I'm best at. I'm a liability if I try to use other weapons."

" I have a set of knives and a spear what about you sonnet"

Sonnet looked at what she had grabbed. In all the confusion at the cornucopia, she wasn't really sure of what she had gotten. "I have a set of knives and a sword. Those are my best weapons too."

Della runs in, scanning the area, and grabs a pack, an axe, and a spear, the first things she spots. She strides off, weapons aloft and ready for attack, looking for her alliance.

Riley looks around and spots no one, so he runs around the corner...
and runs smack dab into a tribute.
"Argh!" he yells, as he picks himself up, only to see his dear friend Kylie.
"Where the 'ell have you been?" She looks at him coolly and smirks.
"Better watch your accent, it's coming through again."
He clears his throat and says in a accent free voice, "I don't know what you're talking about. Anyways, come on. Let's find the others."

Daring and November doubled back to meet their allies (Della, Riley, that's you too ;PPP )

jori lands up on her plate and sees packs. as the gong sounds she grabs one pack and an axe and heads to the north following the way she saw daring take.





Corey looks around. there wasn't anything left in the cornucopia. great. he just takes a bag and runs south, looking for his allies.

willem decides to start to make camp and asks Callum and sonnet "Who should take the first look out shift,"

"I can take it," says Callum. He sits down and takes off his jacket. "I'm gonna bind my cut first though." Blood has stained his shirt sleeve, and the wound is still trickling blood. He opens his pack. "the odds must be in my favor! There's a first aid kit in here!" Callum smiled. He applied some antibiotic ointment to the cut, then securely bandaged it. He decided to leave the pain killers for when they were really needed. He was sure that it would happen sometime, if not him then someone else.

"I will take the second one," Willem said as he snuggled into his sleeping bag as the sun went down

Callum sat alert, bow in hand with an arrow already knocked. He watched as Willem and Sonnet started to relax. He ate a small snack from his backpack, and made a mental note that they should forage and hunt in the morning.

Reyna was tired of waiting for her alliance. She walked a little further into the forest. She found a tree with thick branches and climbed to almost the top. Reyna was pleased with what she had grabbed from the cornucopia. She opened her bag and looked to see what was inside: some extra clothes, an empty canteen (she would find water later), some food, a blanket and... A first aid kit! She knew that there were only a few other tributes that had gotten these, she was very pleased with her luck so far. She decided to go and get some water. She slung her backpack, bow and quiver over her
shoulder and took her spear in her hand. She started north hopping tht she might find her allies on the way.
