Dominique walked out into the opening and headed for the Pavilion. Memories flashed before her happy and sad ones. They brought up sad smile on her face as she remembered all the wonderful things she did here with her foster parents. All of those thoughts stopped as she saw Kristopher kissing another girl. She sighed. "Well, that Kristopher."
"Meh, it's fine. I still can visit them in Heaven." She smiled briefly and finally caught their attention. Kristopher grinned and waved to them as girl frowned. "Hi!"
"Nothing much. You?" Still having a grin on his face, Kristopher stood and walked over to them. Dominique glared at the girl who gather her belongings and ran away. Seeing girl run away. Kris called. "I'll call you!"
Adelaide glanced at the girl, but decided that if Kristopher was going to call her later, the girl would be fine. "Not much. Wanted to meet my new family."
"Ah, then you came to the right person and at r--" He stopped when he was interrupted by Dominique. "Wrong time."
"All right," she said, shrugging. She turned to Kristopher. "I'm Adelaide," she said, holding her hand out for him to shake. "Nice to meet you."
"As you saw, I'm doing great." He grinned releasing her hand as Dominique sighed. "She is our sister, Kristopher. No need to flirt. Sheesh..."
"See? That's the problem with him. He will get laid with anybody." Dominique glared at him and he smirked. "I wanted speaking powers and I got them. So I'm bringing them to use. Don't blame me."
"Don't you have any respect for women?" Adelaide said, glaring. As soon as the words came out of her mouth, her eyes widened in horror. "I'm sorry," she whispered.
He stared at her for couple of seconds before he burst laughing. He grinned. "I do have. Some come to me just for fun.' He shrugged. "It's fine. Our siblings can do much worse than that."
She nodded. She wanted to lecture Kristopher on how he was using an act of love just to get pleasure, but she kept her mouth shut. He probably wouldn't care.
"Alright, bye." She waved at Kris who rolled his eyes and poofed. Dominique looked at Adelaide and sighed. "Really sorry about that. So who's next?"
"Really hard. I should have done that as well." She chuckled and nodded, "Sure. I think that he's in his workshop by now."
"Yep. In about few hours." Dominique nodded. "So why won't we jus walk? I don't think it's that far."
"That's good," she said. "I'd like to meet everyone eventually, even if some of them are like Kristopher."
"Not a normal type of crazy although..." She muttered under her breath and shrugged then. "Well, if you really want to meet him, then okay."
"Another warning tobe sick like sneeze or something. And don't look into his eyes." Dominqiue said opening the door.
"Well, mostly youur limbs and blood." She shrugged then looked inside. "Meh, I'm too tired to walk. Wanna poof?"
Greg appeared with Adelaide inside the pavilion that was surrounded by never dying flowers, his personal favorite. He grinned then at her. "Great job!"
"Now all you have left is how to control your powers. Then you can become a Council member. If you want." Greg said as he leaned back looking around the quiet place.
"I don't think I have any more powers." Adelaide shrugged as she took a chair and sat down. "The only thing I chose when I was going through the ritual was to read minds. Which apparently isn't so uncommon in this family. And I've probably kept my powers from when I was a lycan - to shift into a wolf - so I should be all good on that part."
