I had spent two weeks reading biographies and non-fiction books for a library reading program and I needed to read something fun!

I picked the right book for it. The sisters Grimm are descendants of the Grimm brothers and they are fairy tale detectives out to save the world! This is the 9th book in the series and was the last book in this series so it was very action packed. The Trickster King, Puck, is in this book so you know there are going to be some fun times as well!

One of the main characters, Sabrina, does have some moments when she brings the book down because her attitude is quite the kill joy and I just couldn't get to like her throughout this entire series. But, in the end of course she comes through and turns into a likable character, I'm just sorry it took 8 books for that to happen. Her younger sister Daphne is an awesome character and makes up for a lot of Sabrina's unlikableness (if thats a word?).

A really fun series to read, I don't know that it needed to go on for as many books as it did and from other reviews that I read several other people felt that way as well.

I have the first of this series on my TBR shelf. The more I hear about it, the more I think I will like it.

I thought it was a fun little series and a bit different from a lot of the fairy tale reads. There were so many of my favorite fairy tale characters in it and all of them behaving in new ways.

It was a bit cluttered from time to time since it was everyone from Oz characters to Alice in Wonderland to the traditional Grimm characters involved.

I've never heard of this series, but it looks fascinating! I'm going to check it out.

I'm so glad that I go on leave tomorrow afternoon! More time to read...
