      Uhm, let's see.
I guess I simply love music, I can't play any instrument. (I learned how to play the music for "My Heart Will Go On" on a piano, though. ahah)
I don't think I have a favorite kind of music. I mostly care about the lyrics, so the style doesn't really matter. As long as the words get to me, I like it.
I guess I'd say Rock and Country though. (i know right? completely different) But rock gets me when I'm pissed, and country makes me feel lighter, it makes me feel happy, somehow.
I won't deny that sometimes I listen to songs just because I like the beat of 'em, but those are the ones that tire me after very little time.
I don't plan on making music for a living. (of course?) I wanted to, when I was younger, then I realized I was good at nothing. (*brief pause to pity myself*)
I write, though. I'd like to become a writer, in fact.
One of my favorite songs (well, MY FAVORITE song) is Shattered by Trading Yesterday. I think it does describe me and it doesn't at the same time. That song is pure poetry. If you met me a couple years ago, that song would have totally been me. Now, though, when something bad happens to me, I try to make the best of it. I always try to look at the bright side. So I'm not lost. I'm always looking for a way back, and I don't stop to pity myself and feel miserable.
That's just pointless and sad.
Also, I love Enjoy the Silence by Depeche Mode and Wish You Well by Thousand Foot Krutch.
Some people say that music takes you to another world, but that's not true. Music is another world, entirely. And the moment you put your headphones on, you enter that world and you get lost in it.
There are so many worlds a person can get lost in, that's just one of them.

      I love music.
And I have always envied people who have had the chance to learn instruments, because I so damn want to learn the drums or guitar. I really just, I can settle myself/ calm myself/ find my place and inner self when I am listening to music, and I try to listen to it all the time(this doesn't work, because I am very conscious of getting my iPod broken if I sleep listening to it, and I have had it confiscated from me at school before-which was torture).
I listen to a lot of different genres, and I like it like that (oh my goodness I just made a Guy Sebastian related pun--please, save my soul!)
I listen to Alternative mostly. Alternative rock, rock, indie rock, metal, electronic, classical.... a lot of everything.
I have never really had a 'favourite' song. All songs that I like are my favourite. But I do have favourite artists: Pendulum, Foster the People, Bon Iver, Breaking Benjamin, 30seconds to Mars, You Me At Six, & Linkin Park.

I simply love music! I dare say that's my life. I think I couldn't live without listening to my favourite music, even just for a day. Music makes me feel happy or sad and transports me to another world.

Music makes me feel happy or sad and transports me to another world. I don't have a favourite kind of music, really, but I can't stand techno or house songs because they don't comunicate me anything at all. There are no feelings in songs like these, probably beacuse they ARE CREATED with no feelings. They're ok if you just want to dance but what about the lyrics? D: Oh god....the only thing s you hear are something like: "woah woah sex drink baby baby i love you; oh what I beautiful girl; Just get craaaazy" ans so on. So I think they're just pathetic. I usually listen to rock, metal, jpop, cpop, jrock and sometimes also classical music, since that I'm a violinist.
Anyway I don't even have a favourite song because it depends on the period. But there are a couple of singers, musicians or bands I prefer. Maybe my favourite artist is Emilie Autumn. She's very talented and she's created a new musical genre, in some way. I also like Lindsey Stirling ( another violinist ), Amranthe, Nightwish ( only songs sung by Tarja not by that new unbearable "singer") The GazettE, Alice Nine, Gackt Camui, Utada Hikaru, L'arc en ciel, Elisa, Yuya Matsushita, Rainie Yang and so on u.u

I've met enough real musicians to know that I can't really call myself one. I can play several instruments, rather well, but I don't match up to the pros.

Well I love music that's in a language I can't understand. For some unknown reason it strikes a chord somewhere inside me. Usually Kpop will do it for me. Music in English? That'd be anything from Van Halen to songs that have been nightcored. Music is such a huge part of my life! It's always there for me, and it never leaves me!!! Well except when I lose my headphones then it's off to buy some new ones! But for serious times when life is getting to me music without words music I can lose myself in is best. Classical rocks!!!
Favorite artists? Kanon Wakeshima, Shiny Toy Guns, Yiruma, Space Cowboy, Fireflight, Van Halen, Hollywood Undead, and best of all. . .
my Pandora stations!!!! They know me so well!

Me toooooo!! ahahaha
Okay! I already said on my introduction that i love music. So that's why I am here right now. I don't have a specific genre that I like. The type of songs I listen depends on my mood. I like Taylor Swift (yeah I know! A little cliche). Well it's only because her songs A Place in this World and The Outside are the first songs that I could relate to. I was in my first year of college at that time so it's a little hard with the new environment and people I didn't know. The n her song Never Grow Up touched me big time. So I guess that's why I like her. I can relate to her songs (well not the break up songs 'cause I never had a relationship before). I also like Kate Voegele's music. She has great talent on songwriting. Her song Sweet Silver Lining has always been the soundtrack of my life (I love the lyrics "I maybe weak but I'm never defeated"). Right now, I really can relate to her song Sandcastles (with the lyrics "I'd rather make sandcastles instead of this wide-world decisions"). I find the love song "To Make You Feel My Love" really romantic. Right now, my playlist includes Demi Lovato's songs from her new album DEMI (I also like her 'cause of her song "Believe in Me"). I have some Imagine Dragons, Jason Mraz, P!nk, Bridgit Mendler, and He Is We too. I also listen to classical music (Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin, Handel, Tchaikovsky). It relaxes me and I learned that it's good for the brain. I'm also into movie soundtracks.I just love them!

Nothing wrong with Swift. Classical is fantastic. Demi Lovato. . .hmm. Never actually listened to her. I'll give it a try.

What's your favourite kind of music, artist or band?
What music is for you? Just an hobby or a whole world?
I'ma drummer, so i study music as my life. I LIKE to be a musician and i WANT to make it a real occupation...music for me it's a way to go out from the world or to tell my self things i still can't realize...
I love bands like Tesseract or Volumes, and the songs that represent me are " All new materials " by Pheriphery, "One" by Tesseract and "Los like tears n rain" from Fightstar. I love classical music and jazz too, Rossini is one of my favourite ones togheter whit Chopin, Debussy and A. Dvorak. I like jazz cause it's the hardest challenge for a drummer, in fact i listen to the Orris Evans Quartet and T.R.A.M., bands whit very hard drum pieces.
So, what about you?
