Has anyone out there read any of the 12 long listed titles? Where should we start reading? What should we avoid?

Darryl (kidzdoc) Hello! I joined the group earlier this week. I've read five of the Booker Dozen so far, and I intend to read all of them before the winner is announced. All of them have been very good to excellent; here's my ranking so far:

1. The Garden of Evening Mists
2. Bring Up the Bodies
3. Narcopolis
4. The Yips
5. Swimming Home

I'll read The Teleportation Accident by the end of the month, and probably all six remaining titles in September.
