Whatcha Watchin?
Rewatched Silence in the Library. For the first time I think this ones scarier the second time around! Not even Blink scared me the second time! I guess it's that you know what's coming but you get the timing wrong in your head...
I remember watching that one. I watched it with my dog at night... he ran away after someone screamed and I ran to go get him because I was freaking out too! It was such a good episode though! I recently rewatched "the Stolen Earth" and "Journey's End" I love those because everyone comes back and works together. I love it when that happens :)
Oh my gosh I saw the Stolen Earth today! Rose was soooo awesome! And I FINALLY know what Torchwood looks like! It's about time, honestly. Only thing is, I DIDN'T SEE K-9!!!
Watched "Doomsday" and "Army of Ghosts" today. I cried a wee bit at the end, but I have to admit, the little fights between the Cybermen and the Daleks were EPIC.
Yeah..........Twila used to quote that all the time. "YOU ARE BETTER AT DYING!"
Between....evil robots who want to destroy the planet. Yep, get the popcorn!
Eris ~ I am Nemo wrote: ""Daleks have no concept of elegance."
"That is obvious."
CATFIGHT!"
It reminded me of those uber obnoxious "popular" snotty girls at most middle and high schools! Then I'm thinking, is that what Moffat was getting at? That the monsters are more like socialistic teens looking for attention? Nope, wait, I'm getting way too philosphical. Moffat just wants to scare the crap out of kids and adults alike.

I hope it's been recorded. I went through the whole week on Monday, just recording Doctor Who so I can watch it later!
That's what I do! Well only with Matt Smith and Eccleston because I got the Complete David Tennant 26disc DVD set! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!
I SAW JOURNEY'S END AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
JOURNEY'S END!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!SO SAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yeah. I cried. Poor Donna.......................... WHY?????????????????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I saw the End of Time today. It was..........crazy. And Donn's granddad is epic. And, "That's cacti." "That's racist!" LOL.
End of Time is awesome! Have you seen both parts?
Re-watched "The Christmas Invasion". Wow I had forgotten some of the super good quotes in there. "I'm the Doctor, I don't know who I am"
It has the "...No hold on...That's The Lion King" line.
It has the "...No hold on...That's The Lion King" line.
I can't stop laughing when I watch that one. Then I wonder why with Matt Smith Doctor Who got way too serious. 9 and 10 had their serious episodes but they also had a couple fun episodes too. I kind of wish Matt Smith could just have one episode to really let loose like in the Christmas Invasion...

The 11th seems, to me, to be anything BUT serious. He needs to be MORE serious!

...sorry, that makes me seem kind of bloodthirsty, doesn't it? I'm not.
:P
Oh guess what!! My sister and I finished watching Season Five together! It was so much fun! When Rory died and got gobbled up by that Nothing, my sister got really mad, and said to my mom, "How could he go and die? Now, that...that woman" (she was joking, she said it with disgust but really likes Amy) "is free to take MY man!" She meant the Doctor, lol. She thinks she wants to marry him--she also considers the TARDIS to be his "house" (said this during the intro). I said angrily, "It's NOT his HOUSE!" He doesn't have a house--HE KILLED HIS OWN PEOPLE!"The unfortunate thing about the 11th Doctor is you as a viewer don't know that until much later. My sister was like 0_0
(But then we were lucky enough to see "The Doctor's Wife" today, and my mom only let us see it in the middle of the day because "it's summer and the boys are gone [on a Boy Scout trip to Canada]". My sister accepted the horrible fact about the Doctor. "Fear me, I've killed hundreds of Time Lords." --"Fear me, I killed all of them." She really liked that episode, and Sexy. I really like that one because it's a fantastic example of the Doctor's dark side [yay, he still has one!] and his loneliness. My mom liked the episode, too. "She's woman, and she's TARDIS." --"Did you wish really hard?")
My sister totally loved the Season Finale (of Season 5), and she is all over AmyxRory! She said "awwwwwww!" at the Last Centurion bit! You've got to admire Rory :) We both really like Amy and Rory. She loved the "fezes are cool" bit. Who doesn't?
Me: You're....using...a sippy cup??!?
Sister: Yeah. Sippy cups are cool.
And I'm so glad we found something to agree on! We both don't like River. Well, I started liking her since "Let's Kill Hitler" (EPIC episode) but she hasn't seen that one yet, so for now she doesn't like River. If she DOES like her at the end of "Let's Kill Hitler", I'll be really surprised. And happy! Just this night at dinner, my mom, she and I all discussed River. I really like her looks, and her timeline with the Doctor is amazing and well thought-out, no doubt...but we don't feel it with the Doctor and her. I do like her as a character, but I don't absolutely love her the way I do Rose, or Donna, or the Doctor himself. Although, and I stressed to make this known to my parents, sister, and now to you, I don't absolutely hate her either.
My sisterHATES the Silence, though. When Amy was in the dark orphanage (and we were watching this at 12:30 at night, mind you) my sister literately clung to me. It was hilarious! But at the time she was scared stiff. She gripped my arm hard! We took a risk last night and watched an extra episode ("Curse of the Black Spot" [I really like that one]) even though both our parents were asleep. A HUGE risk. But they never found out!!!! :D (I kind of hope we can do it again. *adventurous grin*) She really liked that one, and wanted to watch another, but by that time it was 1 in the morning, and common sense told us to go to bed. We ended up going to bed at 2 a.m anyway because we stayed up laughing (as quietly as we could; the bathroom is right below my parent's room) and we both slept with markers, and both woke up with a plethora of tally marks on our arms and hands.
She's a bit curious about the Empty Child, too, even though she hasn't seen the episodes; I foolishly showed her a clip on the Internet of him repeatedly saying "Mummy...Muuuuumy....are you my mummy? Muuuuumy....Muuuuuuuuumy!" and just last night, before the Silence markings on our hands, she held a flashlight up to her face and said in a high voice, "Are you my mummy? Are you my mummy?" I backed up as hurriedly as I could, until my back hit the wall. I never knew it was possibly to be terrified of my own sister. I should have never shown her that clip!
My sister's birthday is coming up! She will be turning fourteen. I plan to make her a TARDIS cake, and really hope we can. I'm writing her a book...well, a sequel. The first one was called "The Adventures of Kaneen and Karlaina". (We replaced the first letter of our names with K's.) It was based around Coraline, a movie and concept we both absolutely love. The sequel, though, is based around Doctor Who, her new delight and fascination. The title is "The Continued Adventures of Kaneen and Karlaina", and features us, and the Doctor. (The 11th, since it's the only version of him she knows. Personally, I would've had Ten. But oh well. Geronimo!) We travel back in time to 1958 and investigate the history of a hiking trail and park near our house, (so we can relate to the setting) and discover yet-to-be-named aliens that try to mess up the historic events that happen there. Since the two main characters are us, I'm making the entire story very, for lack of a better word, "wibbly-wobbly timey-whimey"!
The increasingly good smell of dinner finally succeeded in pulling Beau out of the computer room, and Eric was pried like a stubborn starfish off his chair downstairs, where he was working on a book. We all sat down to dinner and eagerly dug in. That night, I wore my dark blue Doctor Who T-shirt, which I’m also wearing right now as I write this. (I really was.) In a couple of seconds, I’m going to pop my head out of my doorway, hunt you down, and then ask you to bear witness that I’m wearing it.
…
Okay, I’m back now. You are unpacking boxes with Mom at the table while the last night of the 2012 Olympics are on the TV. You had an odd, unsure look on your face like you weren’t sure to laugh about it or not. But I told you as I smiled, “Remember that I asked you this!”
Do you remember that I asked you?
Whatever your answer, yes or no, this was a test of your memory---plus just for fun. Muahaha!
Your birthday this (and that) night was a bunch of fun. We talked and laughed over delicious food and even better cake—and, if my plans right now will hopefully turn into reality, one of your cakes was a certain…color. With a certain theme. (If my plan of awesomeness FAILED, flip to the last page of this book to find out what is was going to be. I really hope it didn’t fail!)
It is a sign of my dedication that I read your entire message! :D Your sister is definitely a Whovian! My mom is pretty much as close as it gets to a definite Whovian, which is surprising - I thought my brother would be the other Whovian in the family.I found the Complete Series 4 at the library today! SO HAPPY! I am dying to show my mom and my brother "Silence in the Library" and "Forest of the Dead," because those were such good episodes! And River was in them. :)
My mom is a Whovian, but now my sister completely out-ranks her :) But don't get me wrong, I'm immensely glad that my mom likes it.You found the entire Season Four! That's fantastic. I am so happy for you! "Silence in the Library" and "Forest of the Dead" are utterly brilliant episodes. I told my sister about the Vash Generada (I'm sorry, I have NO idea how to spell that!) and she really wants to see those episodes. I can't wait to see them with her. Today we saw "The Doctor's Wife", as I mentioned above, and later in the night she as well as my mom watched together "The Rebel Flesh" and "The Almost People." My sister really liked them.
Knowing what happened in the end, for me, just made it more fun. The Doctor was trying to find out if Amy was Flesh or not, and I noticed all these little brilliant facial expressions and slight gestures. He may be no Ten, as, rightfully, all the Doctors are different, but he is the Doctor. You can see it in his eyes; every time he asks someone to trust him, it gets harder and harder to do.
I'm SO excited for the next two episodes "A Good Man Goes to War" and "Let's Kill Hitler". Definitely two of my favorites. That's when I started liking River (also mentioned above) plus it's just so...dramatic. Emotional. Amazing. Incredible. That IS Doctor Who for you! (When Season Seven comes along my sister will be all caught up!!)
Well, that's all for now.
Over and out.
Hooray for Janeen! My mom will watch one now and then, working on her, but It's going to take a LOT of convincing to get my Dad to be a Whovian. Since he's a WWII beouf (Buff? You get what I mean) I might show him The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances, Let's Kill Hitler/A Good Man Goes To War, and the one with the Daleks and how they claim to be working for Churchill to defeat the Axis? Oh what's that one called? Blanking out!!!!!
Victory of the Daleks! I really want to show my brother that one, because he was laughing his butt off at the clip of the Dalek asking the scientist man if he wanted some tea.
Haha! A Dalek saying "tea". That's just hilarious in itslef.
YES! YES! YES! Thank you Janeen for posting that picture. I am probably going to snatch it for... something. No idea what it will be for, but something!
You're quite welcome :)Be aware, though, that I don't own the picture. It was on DevinArt or something, so if you are going to use it for something profitable, get the permission of the real owner! (In case you thought that was mine.)

OH YES!
OH YES!
#35 - I will do that! I don't want to be an art-stealing turd.I haven't seen End of Time yet, although I have seen Ten's regeneration and his good-bye/hello to Rose. My mom and I are both huge fans of the music that plays during his regeneration, "Vale Decem." My mom says she'll never get tired of listening to it, and I don't think I will either. It makes me miss Ten so much. :(
I like Ten better than Eleven, but they're both awesome.
My brother and I watched The Unicorn and the Wasp yesterday, and boy did we have a blast! We've grown up watching and reading (in my case, not in my brother's unfortunately) Agatha Christie's works, so seeing her style homaged/jokefully parodied was brilliant. I also appreciated all the names of Agatha Christie's books that the episode's writers could cram in. Donna was excellent, of course, and the Doctor was in shining form."HOW IS HARVEY WALLBANGER ONE WORD?"

It the first and probably last one that my dad saw, but he enjoyed it (I think, with him its hard to tell unfortunately) and my mom saw it and liked it too!! After seeing it, my mom wanted to read some of Agatha Christie's works. We got one of her audio books for a trip but were unable to listen to it because my sister and her somewhat annoying friend (I only say 'somewhat annoying' becuase I don't want to be rude, but she is VERY annoying) were singing along (badly) to the radio and we never got a chance!!
