What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

Hi there, I'm trying to remember a series I read when I was a young teen. It was a Christian teen series and I think the main girl's name started with a K. What I remember about the book is that the main character got raped at a party, and got pregnant, and she gave her baby up for adoption. Does anybody know what book I'm talking about?

Could it be something by Melody Carlson? I haven't read her personally, but my daughter loves her books and they do seem to be on this sort of theme.

Hmm. I can't seem to find the right book in Melody Carlson's collection. It was published a long time ago, sometime before 2000. I will keep digging.

Robin Jones Gunn also writes Christian fiction for teen girls. Once again I haven't read her personally, but from what I've seen there's similarities between her and Carlson.

Oh my gosh! I just found it! It didn't start with K, it had Ks in it.... Nikki Sheridan series, by Shirley Brinkerhoff.
