Welcome! We have several activities to celebrate our 500th member, and prizes will be awarded at various points throughout:

Story prompts! Our members have provided 13 story prompts and now we need you all to write stories to fulfill the prompts.

Membership Polls! Express your opinion about gay scifi.

Scifi related recipes and pictures. Share yours.

Scifi related haikus.

The official start of our celebration is tomorrow, August 10, 2012!




Don't worry - people who already wrote a haiku or a story prompt etc. are still eligible for our fabulous prizes! But now we will start giving them out.




Our plan is to wait until the end of the celebration and then assign each winner a random number and allow them to pick from the prize vault in that order.




We have one winner so far - our 500th member, Susan Laine.

Our 500 member celebration is humming along nicely, but there are still several activities that need your participation and many prized to give!

(1) First of all: GSF needs writers! Our story prompt thread has moved on to the next phase - prompt selection! We have amassed thirteen interesting prompts to pick from. Any writers or aspiring writers out there, now is the time to claim the prompt that speaks to you! Share your writing with the group! There will be several prizes awarded for this effort.

(2) Our third membership poll is up. Respond before August 25th for a chance to raid the prize vault. Tell us your favorite scifi TV series from several choices. The big names aren't there, so You will need to dig a little deeper.
