Forley the Weakest's selfless final brave act and the ambush set up by the Named Men on the bridge outside the gates of Carleon did it for me. What happened to Forley was heart breaking, the ambush was tense and the ensuring slaughter was a very dramatic fight scene.

I really liked the fencing tournament when Bayaz helped Jezal win the tournament, but Jezal is clueless and Glokta suspects them of collaborating. Great scene.
For me it was when Sult thought he could show Beyez up for a fraud in front of everyone. That scene was brilliantly written, it had everything, clever words, double meanings. It was tense, had humour and a hilarious ending.
Meeting the Bloody Nine for the first time at the end of the book.Glokta crapping his pants.
Black Dow waiting for the signal when they ambush the Shanka
The Bloody Nine (almost) killing a man by bashing his skull in...WITH HIS OWN SKULL!A year after reading that scene, and I still can't get the visual out of my head. One of the most hardcore scenes I've ever read.
