Willa ran in, looking for the football.

((soccer ball))

((Oh yeah, I call soccer football so I'll just say soccer ball to make it easier))
"Here we go. Kick it around or what?" She picked it up and passed it from hand to hand.

"Yeah or toss!" Seth called to her from by the doorway.

All of a sudden Karen walked through the doorway and hugged Seth from behind, squeezing him tightly. "Hey cutie!" she told him happily. Then she looked up and smiled, "Hey Willa!"

Seth was surprised and hugged his sister back. He was really happy to finally see her safe and sound. "I missed you..." he said as he hugged her.

"Hey there Karen! About time! We thought you had gone awol or something." Willa laughed, ready to throw the soccer ball around.

Karen laughed, "Don't be silly! Of course I'd come home!" she told her. She released Seth even though she didn't want to and smiled, "Can I play with you guys?" she asked.

"Of course!" Seth replied quickly. He loved that Karen was home. He didn't want her to leave him just yet. Even if she was just going into the other room.

Willa threw the ball over to Karen. "You start."

Camden thought he heard voices so he instinctively went towards them. He peeked around the corner, hugging the blanket around his shoulders. He kept his eyes out of anyone's sight, and hopefully his own body. Only one half of his face was seen.

Seth had amazing eyesight and he saw half of a face peeking in at them, from the doorway. "Who's there?!" he asked, a confused look on his face. The face he saw he did not recognize...

Karen was just about to set the ball when her brother asked the question. She turned around fast and saw Camden. Her eyes were wide with surprise. She thought he would still be sleeping.

Camden's face disappeared. He considered running off, but he'd wait until there were signs of pursuit. He didn't peek around again, but he closed his eyes. He would get lost in here, but it would be better than death.

Karen sighed, "It's alright Camden, you can come out..." she called to him. She waited a moment to make sure he'd come.

Seth was confused. Why would this Camden guy be afraid of Karen, Willa and him?

Camden walked around the wall, looking shy. He wasn't sure if it was okay to go to her. "I'm Camden." He kept his eyes averted from Seth, looking to Karen for help. Should he let Seth see?

Karen's blue eyes were tense and she was lightly biting her bottom lip.

Seth saw the silver around his eye glint off the light in the room and backed up, a squeak of a scream coming from his throat. "Karen its one of them!" he yelled in fear, running to her. Willa was already behind Karen.

"I know Seth..." Karen said. She didn't take her eyes off Camden's. "He came here with me."

"What?!" Seth asked in surprised horror. He grabbed her arm. "That thing came here with you?" though be was years younger, Seth was almost as tall as his sister.

He started backing up, very confused. "I'm sorry.." He glanced at Seth, stopping from backing up. Camden glanced between Seth and Karen, trying not to tense up or seem threatening.

(I ended it early again)

"You don't need to grab her." He said quietly, eyes moving down to her arm.

(Sorry about my crappy timing..)

Karen shook off her brothers arm, "Don't be..." she told Camden in a kind voice, you did nothing wrong."

Seth couldn't believe what he was hearing. He pushed past Karen and within a few fast strides was over to the thing. He pushed it against the wall hard and gave it a look of pure hatred.

Karen rushed forward, trying to hold her brother back without hurting him, but her brother pushed her back. She lost her balance and landed on her butt.

Seth turned back to it and smacked it hard across the face. "What the hell do you think you're doing here?!" he yelled at it.

He wrapped his fingers around Seth's wrist, stopping his hand. "I'm broken." He said quietly, releasing the young boys arm. "They all know it too. A matter of time until they fix me." He whispered, looking down at the ground.

Karen had gotten up and she had her hand on Seth shoulder, restraining him from hurting Camden again. She looked at Camden with eyes that said she was sorry.
"Camden this is Seth, my brother..." she told him.

Seth was shaking with anger. Why would his sister hold him back from hurting this monster. And why did she just introduce them?

Kingston walked in with Wanda. "What are you guys doing?"

"Karen?" Wanda asked as she walked in and saw her friend. She could see that Karen was tense and her mouth was drawn. And Seth looked like he wanted to kill someone. And there was a boy against the wall.

Karen turned around and saw Kingston and Wanda enter the main room. She looked at her friend and exchanged a silent message that said to stay calm.

Wanda got the message and understood. She tried to bd calm.

Camden slipped out from the wall, moving around them. He backed up. "I'll just go.. I'll just go back and say I got lost in the woods." He told them, hands shaking. It crushed him to have to leave her. "Wait. No. I.." He released a sigh, pushing his handS through his hair frustratedly. "I won't leave." It wasn't him to stand up and create conflict.

Kingston didnt understand so he just stood there.

Karen wanted to go to Camden, to comfort him, but her brother held her back.

Wanda looked at the boy with a confused look until she relized it and put a hand over her mouth, "He's a soul..." she whispered to Kingston under her breath.

Seth held Karen back. "Why are you here?" he asked it. Coming closer to it by a few steps.

"Wow" He whispered back to Wanda. Why is it here? He thought.

He wanted to say something. His gut wrenched, casting his eyes down. He looked up at Karen, opening his mouth. "So I'm not it?" He looked down again.

Wanda nodded to Kingston.

( everyone was calling him an it.. And then Seth says you)

Wanda saw Rebecca and Damion enter the room and walked over to them, hoping Kingston would follow her. "It's a soul..." she whispered to Rebecca. Her eyes never leaving the alien.

Kingston followed Wanda.

Seth looked back at Karen, "What does it mean?" he asked her. His voice was still firm and tense.

Karen sighed crossing her arms, "Camden's a he, not an it. He is male. Trust me, I know." she looked at Camden.

The corner of Camden's mouth turned up, indicating a smile. He wanted to hug her again, but the boy named Seth was keeping her from doing so. He looked back down at the ground but occasionally glanced up at Karen. He looked up to the newest visitors, taking them all in.

Willa walked back into the room seeing another man. "Oh hi there-" she stumbled back when she saw his eyes. "What the hell-" she shot a glance at Karen and Seth.

"I love Karen." Camden told them quietly, looking at the ground shyly. He wrung his hands, glancing up at Karen again. He looked around at the others, lips in a line. I'm sorry he mouthed to Karen.

Willa's jaw dropped and her eyes widened. "Sweet lord..." she shook her head, looking at Karen. "That was quite a raid. Are you sure he didn't leave any traces for a seeker?" She asked, flicking her gaze between him and her.

"I have no idea, but it looks like Karen brought him here..." Wanda told Rebecca in disbelief. Her wide eyes went to Karen.

Seth looked at Willa then at his sister. He shook his head and walked over to Willa, not wanting to look at his sister.

Karen took the opportunity to go over to Camden, she took his hand and whispered to him, "Their just afraid." she looked around the room. "Everyone this is Camden. Yes he is a soul, but he is different. He is not to be feared by us. And I hope you all will choose to befriend him as I have." she gave his hand a reassuring squeeze and looked around the room, waiting for the answers of her family.

When she was finished she answered Willa's question, "Of course I didn't Willa. I never have before."

Willa looked at Seth as he walked over. She didn't want to rip brother and sister apart like this, being on this other side with him didn't feel right considering she had a brother of her own to relate to. But this was a soul. They invaded their planet, implanting in their parents, friends...
"Karen. I hope you know what you are doing." She said firmly, looking her dead in the eye. She was not going to question Karen's motives as she would never understand them. She wanted to make sure the humans were safe.

Camden took her hand, planting a soft kiss on her palm. He had no shame, he wasn't really embarrassed by much. "Yes, I know." He told her back, lowering her hand down to their side again. He glanced over at Seth, seeming to almost deflate a little at the fact that Karen's sibling could hate him so much. "I brought food." He told them, hoping it would warm them up to him.

Wanda thought for a moment then answered, "Well I guess if Karen trusts him.... Yeah I guess we can." she answered with a nod.

Willa inhaled deeply and looked around. "If you're going to stay with us Camden then you've got to do the work like everyone else. Eat as little as we do and as you can suspect, if you dare betray us, I will personally hunt you down and make the Seekers' tactics look like child play. Understood?" Willa knew she didn't look menacing or ever talked like this but she felt all this rage boil inside her.

"Of course I do." Karen told Willa firmly, her gaze dared Willa to test her again. She would not stand down, she never would.

Seth was at Willa's side.

"I trust him" Kingston said after hearing everyone elses inputs.

"He understands." Karen said, she took a small step in front of him, "But I am the only one going to make real threats around here."
