message 2: by schu (new)

schu Annalisse is walking outside. Feeling the wind in her long hair that she lets flow in her back. She rarely do this but today is a exception.

message 3: by Hannah (new)

Hannah (cloveshay) | 713 comments Karen pulled the truck up to the opening in the ground. She could see only one person on guard duty. Anna... She looked over at Camden, "You ready?"

message 4: by Madeline (new)

Madeline | 400 comments "Scared." He replied, opening up the door and stepping out of the truck. He fixed the back pack onto his shoulders. "Let's go." He didn't feel silly, even though he was all dressed up, a fancy camo backpack on his back. He grinned at Karen, bouncing on the balls of his feet. He backed up from the truck, taking in the scenery. "Where is it?"

message 5: by Hannah (new)

Hannah (cloveshay) | 713 comments Karen pointed over to a crevasse in a mountain not to far off. It was well hidden from the road. "Right over there." she told him. "And no need to be scared. Anyone who wants to hurt you will have to answer to me first." she told him, looking at him with her blue eyes, "I won't let them touch you..." she said.

message 6: by Madeline (new)

Madeline | 400 comments He gave her a smile, grabbing her hand. He kissed it softly, rubbing his cheek against it. "Lead the way." He told her softly, holding her hand tight. "I wouldn't let anyone touch you." He tightened his grip on her hand, pulling her off towards the crevice. Now, he was more excited than scared.

message 7: by Hannah (new)

Hannah (cloveshay) | 713 comments "They wouldn't even think of it..." Karen said softly under her breath. She let Camden lead her to the crevice and when they were just about there she whispered, "Look down Camden, don't look in her eyes." she instructed him. The silver ring around his eye would give him away. So with his head down she smiled at Anna as she dragged him past, "Good load." she told her in an even voice. She continued down the hallway with him, until they were walking in the dark. "You can look up now." she told him.

message 8: by Madeline (new)

Madeline | 400 comments He nodded, looking up. "How long are we going to keep it a secret, Karen?" He asked, looking up to her. "Until you can figure out your feelings?" He asked her, kissing her hand. He stopped her in the hall, stopping them both. He pulled her to him, hugging her tightly. Camden pulled back just slightly, tilting her chin up towards him. He stroked her cheek, able to just barely make out her face. "Tell me if you want me to stop." He leaned down, lips brushing hers.

message 9: by Hannah (new)

Hannah (cloveshay) | 713 comments Karen shivered. She didn't say anything, because she didn't want him to stop. She felt her back go against the rock wall but didn't cringe. She wasn't scared of this.

message 10: by Madeline (new)

Madeline | 400 comments (time to move them again.. I'll post in hallways xD)

message 11: by Madeline (new)

Madeline | 400 comments He brought her to the edge of the entrance, still holding her hand. He sat down, pulling her to sit with him. The colors interested him, making him feel excited.

message 12: by Hannah (new)

Hannah (cloveshay) | 713 comments Karen could tell that Camden liked taking joy in the simple things of life. She smiled to herself and sat beside him, laying her head on his shoulder.
"It's beautiful isn't it?" she said quietly.

message 13: by Madeline (new)

Madeline | 400 comments He nodded, laying his head on hers. "Amazing.." He whispered, turning his head to kiss the top of her head. He rubbed her back softly, before relaxing and backing off. He was worried she wanted him to stop.

message 14: by Hannah (new)

Hannah (cloveshay) | 713 comments Karen sighed contently, "I love you Camden..." she told him in a voice that was barely louder then a breath. She closed her eyes.

message 15: by Madeline (new)

Madeline | 400 comments He nearly jumped at the sudden sound. He smiled, wrapping his arm around her waist. "Karen, they could come here looking for me. I don't want anyone hurt because of me." He said softly, rubbing her back again. He wondered if there was some place farther than the desert, but no one had survived the treck.

message 16: by Hannah (new)

Hannah (cloveshay) | 713 comments Karen's breath caught, "No ones going to get hurt." she told him. She would die before she let a Seeker even touch her family. Especially Seth.

message 17: by Hannah (new)

Hannah (cloveshay) | 713 comments ((?))

message 18: by Madeline (new)

Madeline | 400 comments (Went to dinner)

He sighed, stroking her cheek. "Karen, I understand that. But you'll get hurt. Maybe I should go." He rested his cheek on her head. "I don't want to. Tell me I don't have to go." He whispered, closing his eyes. It was childish, but he wanted to hear it. If he couldn't, he'd go. But he wouldn't go back there, he'd treck farther into the desert.

message 19: by Hannah (new)

Hannah (cloveshay) | 713 comments "You don't don't have to go," Karen insisted. Hugging his arm.

message 20: by Madeline (new)

Madeline | 400 comments He nodded, peeling her away from his arm. He tilted her face towards him, giving her a light, hesitant kiss. He was still wondering if this was okay.

message 21: by Hannah (new)

Hannah (cloveshay) | 713 comments Karen leaned into the kiss, touching his cheek.

message 22: by Madeline (new)

Madeline | 400 comments He deepened the kiss, much less hesitant now. He close his eyes, leaning his forehead on hers. He had pulled his lips back so he could breathe. His breathing was heavy, eyes fluttering open and close. "I'm in love with you." He whispered, sounding breathless.

message 23: by Hannah (new)

Hannah (cloveshay) | 713 comments "I know..." Karen said in a breathless voice. She trailed her hand down his cheek.

message 24: by Madeline (new)

Madeline | 400 comments He watched her eyes, shivering at her touch. He ran his fingers down her cheek as well, mimicking her. He kissed her cheek which was easily accessible, though he pulled back.

message 25: by Hannah (new)

Hannah (cloveshay) | 713 comments Karen blushed and her eyes closed.

message 26: by Madeline (new)

Madeline | 400 comments He tugged her towards him, rubbing her back slowly. "Why don't we go back to your room? You look tired." Camden told her, stroking her cheek softly. He lowered his head onto her shoulder, laying it the for a moment, and allowing her to rest her head on his.

message 27: by Hannah (new)

Hannah (cloveshay) | 713 comments Karen leaned on his. To say the truth she was tired. And she probably should go to bed. "Yes I am tired..." she whispered.

message 28: by Madeline (new)

Madeline | 400 comments He stood up, pulling her with him with a simple tug. He wrapped and arm around her waist and even made the motion to offer to carry her. He was quite strong and she certainly wasn't fat.

message 29: by Hannah (new)

Hannah (cloveshay) | 713 comments Karen smiled lightly, "If you insist..." she said in a fake gracious voice.

message 30: by Madeline (new)

Madeline | 400 comments "Then I must." He whispered in her ear, sweeping his arm under her knees. He didn't think she was serious about wanting to be carried, but he did anyways. He laughed quietly.

message 31: by Hannah (new)

Hannah (cloveshay) | 713 comments Karen was surprised when her feet were off the ground. She gasped, but then laughed, wrapping her arms loosely around his neck.

message 32: by Madeline (new)

Madeline | 400 comments He grinned, leaning down to to give her another kiss see to leave her breathless. He pulled away, walking back into the entrance, through the halls, and to her bedroom.

message 33: by Hannah (new)

Hannah (cloveshay) | 713 comments Karen ran outside. In a full sprint. Her legs pumped and the muscles flexed. It was a familiar feeling to her. She loved running. It seemed sometimes that she could outrun her problems. But she knew she couldn't outrun this one.
She finally stopped about a mile and a half away from the hideouts entrance. She collapsed on the rocky sandy ground. Letting tears fall from her eyes. She didn't want anyone seeing her so weak. So vulnerable....

message 34: by Madeline (new)

Madeline | 400 comments Lea watched Karen for a little bit before scrambling down the rock side. "Karen?" She asked softly, watching her with wide eyes.

message 35: by Hannah (new)

Hannah (cloveshay) | 713 comments When she heard her name she instinctively wiped her eyes. "Yes? Oh Lea. Hey sweety." she said in a shaky voice. Giving her a weak smile. "I'm so glad to finally meet you. I have heard a lot about you."

message 36: by Madeline (new)

Madeline | 400 comments "Are you alright?" She asked softly, touching her arm.

message 37: by Hannah (new)

Hannah (cloveshay) | 713 comments Karen sighed and shook her head, "No. Not I don't think I am..." she said, sniffling a little.

message 38: by Madeline (new)

Madeline | 400 comments "Do you want to come inside? I can make you tea." She told her, smiling softly

message 39: by Hannah (new)

Hannah (cloveshay) | 713 comments Karen smiled weakly again, "I'd like that Lea..." she said, standing up. She brushed some dirt off her long tan legs.

message 40: by Madeline (new)

Madeline | 400 comments Lea's small smile turned into a bigger one, taking the girls arm. She scampered up the rock side with some difficulty and thought of how hard it would be for seekers with hands that hadn't had one callus since they occupied them.
