((LOL!!! oh and i posted at Alex and Quinn's house.))
"he will come when he is finished with his date. right now getting a girl is more important" he said "the kingdom depends on it. you of all people should know that" said the guard.
The guard left without another word.
Aaron came in "sorry i am late. i had a date" he said to Thomas.
Aaron raised an eyebrow. he stayed standing.
Aaron rolled his eyes when Thomas was not looking. he sat down and placed his head on his hands.
Aaron looked at it. "what is this?" he asked
Aaron quickly read it. he looked at Thomas. "they are getting closer with every attack" he said
Aaron shook his head. "no. if they get here what will they do to the girls. to the kingdom?" he asked mainly himself. "if they get here there will be mass terror."
"more guards should be sent here, here, and here" he said gesturing to three different area's on the map.
Aaron examined the map closer. that's when he noticed something "look over here. it looks like a path, but it is surrounded by trees. it is a direct path to the castle. get guards here too. lots of them" he said
Aaron yawned. they had been up almost all night. it was almost morning now. well, no point in going to bed now. he examined the maps a bit more carefully again.
Cori walked into the library. It was empty but she had never been in a room so full. Everywhere she looked were books. Well, what did you expect she thought to herself. She went over to a shelf and began to read the titles.
Grace came in. she took in everything. the last time she had been in here, she had been 13. she saw Cori "Hey" she said "so how do you like the Castle?" she asked. she had met Cori at the airport.
Grace turned around, sensing that someone else had come in. "hello" she said
Grace smiled "you must be one of the selected" she said
Grace smiled "i used to" she said "the names Grace" she said
"nice to meet you too" she said "so did you meet Aaron yet?" she asked
"he is." she said "i have never seen him like this" she said "and that says a lot, since i have known him since i was five" she said. she sat down on the carpet, cross legged.
"almost" she said "my dad used to be a guard here. he would take me to work with him some times. one day i wondered off and literally bumped into Aaron. i lived her until i was 15, then i went back home. But know i am back. once you live here for a while, you can't really leave it behind" she said
she smiled. "so how do you like the palace so far?" she asked
"Well, wait until you meet Aaron" she said "he can make even the darkest day a dream come true" she said. Even though Aaron could do that, she had Charlie and was happy.
"you too" said Grace. she took out her book. and ran her hand over the cover. she sighed and opened the book to the first page.
Willa quietly walked into the library, not wanting to disturb anyone that was already in there. She had been so overwhelmed by the palace, she just needed some time to relax. She walked over to a shelf and inspected the spines of a few books, she chose one, then sat down to read.
"Oh, um, Hi," Willa looked up from her book, "I'm Willa."She smiled up at the girl who had approached her.
"Oh, just one of those tragic romance novels. Haha." Willa said, waving it off, "I was just a bit overwhelmed by everything, so I just came in here for a while."
"Yes, I love reading, and art. I'm a Five, and that's my job. I don't get much opportunity to do sport, but I do enjoy it. Most of my friends are guys, so it's kind of necessary to be able to play sport, Haha!" Willa smiled,"What else do you like doing?" she asked.
Hayden found Mr. Glee looking at papers."Excuse me, Mr. Glee, one of the selected is in the hospital wing, I was asked to inform you."
Bowing to hide his face, Hayden rolled his eyes. They were the only ones in the room and he could easily kill the man with his bare hands. "This way sir."
Holly entered the library somewhat catiously, eyes scanning the area before walking in further. She had always loved books, the smell of them and the little hiss the pages made as they turned. She enjoyed romance novels, although was always open to reading something new. Her hand glided over the shelves before coming to an abrupt stop, pulling out the Little Women book. She smiled slightly, padding around the room momentarily before catching sigh of a plush, old fashioned sofa chair. Instantly Holly scurried over, nestling herself on the cushioned seat, curled up to one side. She opened the book, eyes instantly becoming glued to the apage as she read.
Aaron was reading the book 'war and peace'.
Aaron was so into his book, that he never even notice her coming into the room.
Aaron looked up from his book and jumped slightly "you gave me quite a fright Miss" he said.
"thats all right" he said. "i tend to space out when reading" he said.
"whats done is done" he said. for now, there was no apology that could fix the damage. it is not that he really cared. he could not see having a future with Jamie. not just on behalf of love, but for the kingdom too. she was never confident, and would not be fit to give lectures and host meetings and balls. he could not see her by his side, and at the moment, it would take a lot to convince him otherwise.
((well, maybe the king will decide to keep her for a bit so she can take care of Bella and Ryan for a bit....))
Aaron did not know how to respond. he thought at first maybe there would be a spark, but no. there was not one.
At first Aaron was suprised by her choice of words, and then had to hold in a laugh. thank god he was good at that. "tell me" he said. "did you feel what most call 'the spark'? he asked.
"it's a library" he said. "and it's only us here...... you know forget it" he said.
"okay pkay, im not going to brain wash you" he said. okay, now he was kinda freacked out. maybe she had had a worse concussion than first presumed.
he didn't know what to say other than. "try talking more. you'd be surpised at how much people like to talk with other"
he sighed, and then after a moment continued to read his book.
