Stranded discussion

This is the whole jungle on the inside of the island. I only made one topic for this so if it gets to crouded with people from different areas in the jungle i will make anther one for a specific area.

Cedric Nile woke up from the sound of a bird. It was strange, he almost didnt realise that there couldnt possibly be a bird in his bedroom. When he rolled over to try and get back to sleep, a branch snapped under him and his eye shot open. Now fully awake he looked at his seroundings. He was definatly not in his bedroom anymore.

"Hello!?" he called, standing up. "Is anyone there?" Cedric heard the dull sound of waves. And ocean. He decided it would be easyer to find his bearings if he went there. So after calling a few more times and a quick look around him, he went toward the beach.

Myra Willerd woke up with a head ache. She went to rub the sleep out of her eyes but the hand she went to move was stuck. A jolt of panic ran through her and she opend her eyes. The world was upside down. She swirled her head to see where she was and almost screamed.

She was hanging upside down in a tree. The vines wrapped around her legs, keeping her from falling to her death. If she moved evena little, they would probably come undone. All she could do was scream.

Cedric took the lead and ran toward the screams. Once they got loud he yelled back, hoping whoever it was would hear. "Hello?! Where are you!" He continued running through the trees until he found where it was comming from. A girl was hanging in a tree, her legs caught up in the vines. Her face was red from hanging and she looked paniced.

Ever gasped when she saw the girl in the tree. "How on earth did she get up there?" she asked.

"Beats me," Cedric was already starting to find a good spot to climb up the tree. "But then again, nothing right now makes sense." He found a good hold and hoisted himself up onto a branch, but the girl was still along ways up. He looked back downa at the girl below. "What did you say your name was?" It was a very odd time to be asking but he thought he should know.

Myra saw the people come out of the trees and she stopped screeming, but now shaking. Hangind upside down froma tree wasnt exactly the wake up call anyone would like. She couldnt even say any words, mostly because if she did all that would come out would be another scream.

"Ever." she said as she watched him climb. "Be careful, if you move the branches to much the vines will break and she'll fall. It's amazing that they haven't broken yet." she said the last part to quiet for anyone to hear.

He looked at her in surprise. "Right" he mumbled. He was startled that she would pick that up aswell. He continued climbing without another word, being carful not to move any branches. "Dont worry, im going to get you down" he reasured the girl.

Myra could only nodd. What she was thinking though was exactly what the girl-Ever- down below said. If these vines move, she is going to come loose and fall. Her heart sped up in her chest.

Ever was tense. The girl was so high up and she could tell just by looking that the vines were under a lot of stress, just like Ever was.

Cedric was as close as he could get without causeing the vines to move. He could see already that there was no way she was going to get down without falling. But he wasnt going to tell ehr that, and he sure as heck wasnt letting her stay up there. "Ok" he said, comming to a conclusion. "I want you to try and grab my hand, without moving your legs to much, can you try and do that?" he asked her. His eyes flickerd down to Zack and he hoped that Zack was ready to catch the girl.

Myra nodded and stretched her hand out, trying not to move her legs. A vine slipped though and she fell a few feet before it caught her again. "I dont think this is going to work" she called, her voice quiet and shakey.

Maeve wrote: "Kira stood back and watched the others as they helped the girl down. "Are you okay?" she asked the girl.

((She isnt down yet, still hanging up there but not as far up :P))

Ever almost yelled when the girl slipped. As she watched she got an idea , she looked around the tree and saw some vine that were thicker than the ones that were higher up. "Wait!" she shouted up as she got the vines. She tied a rock to one end before throwing it up to Cedric, narrowly missing his face. It went over a branch in front of him. "Tie that end around her waist!" she yelled up at him.

Cedric jerked out of the way when the vine nearly missed his face, but he did see the genius in what Ever was saying. "You got it." He looked at the girl hanging. "Hold still."

"I dont have much of a choice to i?" Myra tried to use humor but it sounded dead and lifless in her quiet voice.

Cedric tied the vine around her waist, carfull not to move her to much. Then he slung the vine over a branch a little higher than him, got a good grip and looked at Zack. "You ready to catch her?"

"The vine should hold. It was at the base of the tree so it's stronger than the others." she said to Cedric.

He nodded and then pulled on a vine around her legs, letting her fall to Zack. And bracing himself to slow her fall.

Ever quickly helped both of them up. "Are you okay?" she asked both of them.

Cedric tried to hold on, to break her fall but the vine cut right through his hands and gave him a sort of rope burn that he didnt know was possible on vine. He looked down though and saw that the two were fine. He started to climb down.

Once Myra caught her bearings, she realised she was laying on top of the boy who caught her-ZaCK. "oh, im so sorry," she said, scrambling to her feet. Then she looked at the girl who spoke. "Yeah im fine" she nodded.

After she helped them up she looked up at the tree. "You okay?" she shouted to Cedric.

((Every time I see his name it makes me think of Harry potter. :) ))

Cedrick jumped down from the tree, looking at his hands. They were scratched and red but he would live. Not life threatening, he should know since he was a docter. "Yeah ill live" he told Ever, walking toward the group.

Myra shook her head. "I just woke up in this tree. A few seconds earlyer i was feeding my hourses." She looked around at everyone else. "That sounds crazy right?"

"I was walking home when all of a sudden blacked out." she said looking at all of them.

Myra couldnt help but laugh. It was a sort of bubbly laugh that she did when she was nervous or scared. After quieting down she said, "Sorry, that isnt funny." But a smile cracked on her face anyway.

Cedric spoke up, "So what is your name?" he asked the girl who was hanging from a tree. It would probably be best to get to know at least everyones names.

"Myra," she said, answering him. She was no longer in a laughy mood.

"Right, so we really should get back to the beach, see if any more people arived. Any objections?" Cedric asked everyone. He skipped the whole topic about what everyone was doing before they ended up here.

"That's probably a good idea." Ever said nodding.

"Ok then," he said and took the lead heading back the way they came, toward the beach.

Caryssa woke up, "Where the heck am I?"
