message 23: by Gordon

Gordon Bailey I have started to write my first book about my life, and would appreciate if you would take the time to have a quick look at the start and see if it has a chance of going forward.

Thank you.

John Smethers Thanks for the kind words, but it really isn't about will power. It's actually about want power. There's millions out there who need to stop, but nothing will work until they want to stop. If you have an interest in addictive behavior, check out my perspective on my website at www.ScumbagSewerRats.com

Ludwig Niemas Dear John E.,

Your past time was not without any reason, and you know that very well. God is helping everyone, if it is needed.

Have a blessed time!

Valjeanne Jeffers Thanks for add John -:) I'm so pleased that someone is tackling the subject of addiction, and showing the humanity of addicts in our culture. These people are our brothers, sisters and neighbors! I'm going to share your trailer on my blog, and as a psy. profesor maybe I can sneak it in my class - :)

Hi Naseem,

Thanks, I appreciate that. Hope you enjoy it. Don't stop reading when it gets a little wordy. By the time you get to the end, you'll have understood it.

message 11: by Kenneth

Kenneth Hi John --
Love the title of your book.
I read a lot of Jung when I was in college -- his concept of the collective unconscious intrigued me, because humans seem to act unconsciously most of the time.
Anyway, good to connect.

Thanks for befriending this mystery author!

message 5: by Meen

Meen Hi John, congrats on your clean/sober time. I am celebrating 10 years next month. It's an amazing experience, isn't it, what radically different people we can become?

Jessie Terwilliger I'm great John, I just marked your book as to be read, it sounds really interesting. My novel Bombshell just came out today, look it up when you get a chance, you might enjoy it.

message 3: by John

John Smethers Very well, thanks, and how are you?

Jessie Terwilliger How's it going John?

K.S.R. Thanks for the add, John. I truly hope your book makes a mark in the world of addiction. If it can help me, as a sister, to know how to help my brothers, I'd like to read it.
