Is there a release date set for the third book in this series? After the big NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO cliffhanger, I need to know desperately!!
TODAY is the day - the release of Running Back to You. Woo Hoo! It's available to download from these booksellers:
Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00EENE8M0/r...
Barnes & Noble: http://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/runni...
Fingers crossed for a successful release and a positive customer reception. If you've read it, please consider posting a review and/or rating at one of the sites listed above.
First off, I should note that I am a fan of longer stories. I am so tired of stories that are essentially “wham, bam, we are in lust/love!” I was so glad that this was a story that was allowed to build, progress and give the reader an opportunity to become invested in the characters. For me, character development is the most important element of a good book and I felt we were allowed to fully engage in Jette and Evan. Also, I don’t know when I’ve read a story with a more likeable set of supporting characters. I can easily see stories about each of the friends introduced in this story. Although there was a tidy ending, surely we will be treated to more stories from this tight knit group. I especially liked Emmy, Adam and Derek. I can easily see stories with each of them as a central character.
Romance stories tend to be very formulaic, i.e. boy meets girl, boy & girl fall in love, boy & girl have a break up, boy & girl get back together and live happily ever after. Let's face it, we all want the HEA. However, Running Back To You provided enough angst and intrigue to keep the reader interested. And while we were treated to a satisfactory ending, I’d really like to see more of these great characters.
The million dollar question for me is whether I would pay for this book, and more importantly, recommend it to fellow readers. To both questions, I say an absolute YES! If you are a fan of the romance genre, Running Back To You will not disappoint. I look forward to seeing what the future brings to Jette & Evan.
Running Back to YouI received this book in return for my honest review.
I would like to start off with it was a refreshing book. I loved the characters, it was down to earth. I could relate to some of the drama and feel so much for it. My heart would race and couldn't stop reading until I knew what was happening. Evan is WONDERFUL!!! I felt for him wanting so much of a "NORMAL" relationship. You could imagine how hard it is to be normal and have a career in the NFL. Jette is a down to earth girl with issues. But who hasn't had issues in life we had to overcome, the issues from our raising to relationships.
The best part is there was a twist near the end. LOVED IT! The way Suzanne ended the book with so much to build from. LOVED IT! I look forward to more reads from her. Like I said before this was a refreshing read. Gives you the building and struggles of relationships, and how hard love is. It reminds you how important friendships are and why we have people come into our lives when we do. I don't wont to give any spoilers. It will make your heart race; you will feel for each person.
The details in the book was great, made you feel as if you was there. One thing I notice was Evan always referred to when they first meet, but she never told him when she first noticed him. Wonder why? I truly love this book. Hot sex scenes that wasn't over done. Like before there is parts in this book that every woman could relate to. And if men read it get some pointers on romance. Its the simple things in life that mean the most. That is why this is a great book to read. I look forward to the continuing series "Running Back To You" ...Will Adam and Emmy hook-up? Will Derek and Reese have a connection? Will Evan stay with the NFL? Will their be a wedding? Will Grant show up wanting Emmy? Will Auggie and Brandon stay together? So much to look forward to ...
Thanks Suzanne this was a really refreshing read and looking forward to more.

Hi Anne! I'm working on the manuscript as we speak. If all goes as planned, it should be out sometime this summer. I'm so glad you're enjoying the books. :0)
