We are trying to get "Children from the Sea" into the film development stage. I will resume after I get back from Kidscreen Summit 2012 in New York. That is where my book "Henri and the Alien" is being transformed into a Kids TV animation "Who is Henrietta?" I must get things moving before October when I hope to release another Kids TV animation called "Mihte Lugh the Shinning One."

Lookman Lookman It is a bit dark for afternoon here. I am determined to publish another book soon, but book to film and book to TV shows take the priority.

Christine Hatfield good afternoon

Ronyell Hmmm...Children from the Sea sounds like a really great film! I like reading up on forgotten truths too and I also love movies that attracts anyone! I also love watching stuff about the Renaissance, so this definitely sounds like an interesting film!

Oh and I asked that Nickelodeon question because I have a fan club on Goodreads for fans who grew up on Nickelodeon during the 80s, 90s and early 2000s and I wanted to invite you to this club so that you can talk about your favorite Nickelodeon shows growing up. The club is also doing a discussion in August about one Nicktoon and Live Action Show that everyone is voting for and I like to hear what live action show and nicktoon you want to discuss in August. Just to the polls section on the right. Just go to:

Lookman Lookman Children from the Sea is both of interest to English and Hispanic audiences. Although a modern mystery set on the beach it has links back to the end of the Kingdom of Andalusia which sparked the Renaissance. It seams funny at that time the educated language was Andalusian Arabic. Every scientist or thinker including Nostradamus had to read it. You can see I like to dig up old and forgotten truths.
Nickelodeon was inly available for me on Satellite from the 1990's.

Ronyell First dual language film, that's great to hear!! I hope it goes well!!! Hey, do you remember Nickelodeon from the 80s or 90s? Just a curious question...

I am waiting to here if my books I wrote up as film scripts will get to the cinema. If not I still have a children's television cartoon series I am developing with partners.

Lookman Lookman I have just formatted my first screenplay (Henri and the Alien). I made a few cuts, but nothing too drastic.

message 5: by Bill

Bill Hi Lookman,

Thanks for being a book friend. Recommend, "The Judgement" by Buffa and also my own (of course)
"The Feathery" by Bill Flynn

Best,

Bill

Lookman Lookman I will put it on my list. I cannot promise to find time to read anything - I am overloaded with work in progress, new publishers and a film prospect. Have a great day.

Beth Hi Lookman,
Thanks for befriending this mystery author! I hope we'll be able to trade book suggestions and that you'll put my book, A Real Basket Case, on your to-read list. And, if you'd like to enter a contest for a free copy of the sequel, To Hell in a Handbasket (another chance to win besides the Goodreads giveaway!), sign up for my email newsletter at: http://bethgroundwater.com/Newsletter....
