Christina Hi Maggie

I am a big Jennifer Weiner fan, very excited about the new book and while I am waiting I will pick up your books. Enjoy the site!!

message 29: by Trish

Trish Hi Maggie! It was my pleasure to add your friend request. I'd be happy to check out your books. They sound fun! Hope you keep us up-to-date on new projects. I'm on a reading kick right now and have made a goal of reading more books this year. Twenty books for 2008. It might not be a lot to most people but that's a ton for me! I'm aiming high!

Best wishes,

Trish

message 28: by Lindsay

Lindsay Why yes, Gone With the Wind is quite awesome and Dorothy Parker was well before her time!

message 27: by Janie

Janie Hi!! You're welcome. Thanks for requesting me. How are things?

message 26: by Megan

Megan Hi Maggie, thanks for the friend request.
How awesome that you had both of your children at home. That must have been an amazing experience for you and your partner. Sadly home births don't occur much in this state, but I love being a doula, especially in the first few weeks when women are adjusting to their new life with baby. I'm going back to school next year for social work, I'm looking forward to learning again in a classroom setting. I've looked at your books, I will give one of them a go this summer hopefully while I'm traveling! Thanks for leaving a nice personal note.

Bloomin’Chick (Jo) aka The Eclectic Spoonie 'still life w/husband' was indeed a good read!

message 24: by Rowena

Rowena Ho, Maggie,

Thank you for your kind comment on the good looking cover model on FORCED MATE. Yes!!! That is Matthew Twiggs, and he is on the e-book version of FORCED MATE that is available on my website.

There's a story... Back in 1994 when I was working on my earlier versions of the story, I happened to subscribe to Mens Health magazine, and when I saw him on the cover of the magazine, I got chills (in a good way) because he looked exactly like the hero I had in my imagination.

So, I read the finest print, found out who the photographer was, contacted him, and ten years later, I was able to buy the limited rights to use that image for my cover.

Best wishes,
Rowena Cherry

Kim Hey! That pic has a false killer whale in it with me. My husband and I did that swim program at Sea World for our honeymoon. I am not an animal trainer, but I work in their education department seasonally. I absolutely LOVE Hiaasen's books. I finished Double Whammy recently, and it's now in my top five! I need to check out your books, too!

message 18: by Mandy (last edited Mar 05, 2008 04:28PM)

Mandy Thanks for the request, Maggie.

Yep, Memory Keeper's Daughter was just one of those books that will stay with me. Another of my all time favourites is The Kite Runner - if you've read that one what did you think?

I shall be adding your books to my to buy list. Good luck with those works and any others that may be coming in the future.

Sundang Saputra Hi Maggie... nice to know You
I think you're the great Author & I want to learn how to be great writer... would You help me ?

Jeremy I want to apologize for the all the recommendations from me today. I wanted to share the Stoker Award news, and I only pressed the send button once--I'm not sure what happened.

Argh...this is terrible...

Again, I'm very sorry.

-Jeremy

Jeremy Thanks for the friendship, Maggie!

Here’s wishing you a nifty New Year filled with noiseless noses, neato nicknames, noble Nebraskans, gnarly narcoleptic nebulas, and novel novels about nut-eating narwhals and novercaphobic gnats.

-Jeremy :)

P.S.—I’m currently offering autographed/personally-inscribed copies of my novel, Vacation, with free shipping for those in the US. If there’s anything you could do to help me spread the word about this, I’d really appreciate it. Feel free to click here for details:
