David Sullivan Hi Susan...for some reason, I couldn't find your comment on my profile, I get very confused on this site where messages may appear! Anyway, thanks for checking in, and I wish I could say I was in the middle of a new novel, but I've been busy instead on our new farm in Vermont and haven't had much opportunity to write. Hope to soon, though, and thanks for the inspiration! Much appreciated.

Dave

Bill Thanks for accepting my friendship.

David Sullivan Hi Lori, thanks for asking, but no, must be the more prolific David Sullivan who also writes M/M fiction.

Dave

Lori K Hi David, is this http://www.loveyoudivine.com/index.ph... your book?

David Sullivan Not this time, Lori...saw B52s at the Pavillion on the waterfront a few years ago for a Community Servings (AIDS food pantry) benefit and even met them after the show. Wild night, I bet you and your daughter will love it.

Lori K Hi David, Beautiful sunny day today!

Are you two going to the B52s/Gogos concert? My daughter wants to re-live MY younger days so we'll be there. :)

David Sullivan Thanks Lori! Yeah, I am very ready for Spring!

You are a wonderful writer. I really hope you continue. As an aside, I'm just up the road from you in Portsmouth. Sick of all this snow or what?

Shell Hi David! Thanks for the friend request!

Alyosha Hi David! Thank you for the add! I look forward to rereading Sound of Your Voice, I loved it the first time I read it years ago.

David Sullivan I can't say I got a lot of positive feedback when it first came out--not sure if I didn't do a good job promoting it or it didn't fit in well with Torquere Press's other books out at the time--I always felt a bit of a square peg over there. So I think without much reinforcement, I decided that I had one novel in me and that was that. The publishing world is just so hard to break into--books line the shelves of libraries and bookstores, and just look at how many books are now available in electronic format.

Coming here and seeing all these positive reviews (a friend googled me recently and sent me a link to this site...so happy he did!) has made me regret that decision to put down my pen. But there's no time like the present, and comments like yours I hope will help me rediscover my voice, expressed through my characters.

Dave

Lori K Hi David, welcome to GR! Do you have any plans to write more books in this genre? SoYV is one of my all time favorites. Like I said in my review, my only regret is that I can't read it for the first time again. It is one of the most memorable books in this genre, hands down.
