Heck, I don't know if i should be writing here or receiving stuff from other people. A great feeling seeing the first paperback of The Twins of Moon, what you might call a new fairytale, emerge. The cover artwork is really beautiful and the scene evoked heavenly. I can't wait for sufficient of my friends get a hold of it. It's out on kindle, of course, but I'm trying to find ways of getting the paperback with its fabulous full around cover to get from the UK to US, Canada and the land of Oz. Lovely to meet you too. I've been out of circulation for a while writing two books one after another. And very different books too. I'm a senior doctor and write books about the genome and viruses for non-scientific readers. But the same me writes fantasy and thrillers. Imagine that! I must be crazy -- at the very least unusual. But not so. You wouldn't believe how many doctors and scientists are deeply into the arts.
Take me for instance. I've just finished a 40 page shared paper for the astrobiologists, meanwhile also writing a book called Virusphere, to clue up ordinary folk about the extraordinary new revelations about the true nature and influence of viruses.
