"On Monday March 2nd, I read up to page 127. This part of the book was not as cheerful or happy as other parts of the book. It still was not sad or unpleasant to read as it was told from the perspective of a dog. Because it was told in this way, it included the innocence of the dog and his occasional cheerful thoughts and remarks. It was also very hopeful and optimistic." — Mar 09, 2020 10:38AM

"Because I forgot the book I am currently reading at home, I read 18 pages of The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks. I enjoyed this book very much sense it was very different from the book I am currently reading. I am currently reading Beloved by Toni Morrison, which is very intense. The Notebook, on the other hand, was an easy read and was very chearful. If I get the chance, I would really enjoy finishing The Notebook." — Jan 13, 2020 07:01PM

"In the part of the book I read today, Sethe continued to recall her past and tell stories to Denver and Beloved. Later in this part of the book, Sethe, Denver, and Beloved visited a clearing in the woods behind their house, where several of Sethe's memories took place. It seems like this book started in the middle of Sethe's story, and because of this, like most of the book is made up of memories." — Nov 11, 2019 06:06PM
