It just didn't seem to fit. Stein being killed with a 22 caliber automatic on page 2; a feeble attempt to get out of that disaster?Not the best scene, for me. It could have been better. He was a good character and it wasn't exactly necessary to introduce him and than kill him almost immediastely afterwards,doing that simply to example how poorly they were doing against the Sovs.(All the spoiling I have in this review I believe)As for the setting and plot, I enjoyed. It wasn't the best, but very good. Could have used some work. Some scenarios seemed to have been written in haste. Like he wasn't taking his time. Other than this I'm quite enjoying the book. I have yet to read of it, after all....more
