The set of ideas that we form in answer to these questions is called a worldview.
“When you don’t know what to do, he is with you as your guide (John 16:13). When you are hurting, he is with you as your comforter (Jer. 8:18; John 14:16). When you feel all alone, he is with you as a friend who sticks closer than a brother (Prov. 18:24). When you’re overwhelmed with anxiety, he is with you as a heavenly peace that goes beyond your ability to understand (Phil. 4:7). When you sin, he is with you as your Savior (1 John 1:9). Be near to God. Make him your refuge (Ps. 73:28). Before you take on anything important, ask him for help (Ps. 124:8). When you’re worried about someone you love, cast your cares on him (1 Peter 5:7).”
