How did you teach your small human that it’s what’s inside that counts when the truth was everyone was pretty preoccupied with what you put on over the outside too?
This was such a beautiful story about loving and accepting yourself. It also provided insight on how to support your child while they figure out who they are. Gender is such a fluid thing, and in today’s society everyone is so focused on the binary that it creates a difficult world for those that don’t fit inside it. I absolutely loved this story and the growth and support every character experienced. Poppy was such a lovely character, and watching her find herself was truly a treat.
