Highlighted this before I even got to the end and now, in retrospect, this quote is even more captivating. There are several mentions of the snow and snowflakes throughout the novel, creating a beautiful metaphor for various stages and emotions in the book. The final scene with the snow and snowflakes melting on Theo’s hand really drove this home.
