Oh my god, I just finished this book and I can’t stop my heart racing. This book was so intense and beautifully written. This was my very first ever Male/Male romance and I have to say that I chose the right author to venture into a new genre. Jay Crownover is possibly the best author I have read. She won me over with Rule for the Marked Men Series and she had me head over heels for Bax with The Point series. She has now got me gassed up for The Saints of Denver and this book serves a bridge to join the Saints of Denver and The Marked Men series.

This book took me out of my safe place and certainly pushed some boundaries. The only reason I even ventured out of the norm was because this author is my absolute favorite author. I would never normally go out of my way to read a Male/Male romance. I was not disappointed. If anything , she has opened my eyes to what I may have actually been missing out on.

Leveled is the story about Dominic Voss(Dom) and Orlando Frederic (Lando). It picks up after Dom was hurt in the line of duty – this was in the last book of the Marked Men series –Asa. Dom needs physical therapy to get back his job on the police force. Dom gets an appointment with Lando and the minute they meet, sparks fly. It was clear they were both deeply attracted to each other. Lando, however, is still recovering over the loss of his first love Remy and is afraid to get involved with a police officer that puts his life on the line all the time. These two have a very intense beginning and it kind of stays that way. Dom is clearly dead set on being with Lando but Lando can't get past his fears of losing someone else he loves.

This book was a quick read, one that probably could have finished in a day but I really wanted to savor the book. This book is full of romance and some seriously hot, steamy sex. I fully recommend this book and previous series written by Jay Crowover. I cannot even imagine being disappointed in it.
