"Made it to chapter 16 before I had to return to Library. The one I borrowed also had "The Proud Tower" which describes life around the world at the turn of the century, just before WWI. I read the chapter about the US, "End of a Dream" which had a lot to say about Thomas B Reed, from Maine." — Oct 11, 2020 12:15PM

"Read through Book IV and had to return to the Library. What I love about these dialogues so far is the art of the dialogue. The art of being able to have a conversation with someone who has a different view than you by opposing without attacking, by listening without becoming so defensive that you can't be willing to explore the possible truth from the other side. This is an art that needs a revival today." — Oct 11, 2020 12:04PM
