IT'S WORTH SELLING YOUR SOUL FOR. AND I'M BAD AT PUTTING MY FEELINGS INTO WORDS.. BUT THANKS TO AMAZING GENIUS V.E. SCHWAB I DON'T HAVE TO ANYMORE. NO I JUST HAVE TO GIVE YOU THIS BOOK AND SHOW YOU MY HIGHLIGHTED PASSAGES AND SAY:"THERE AND THERE AND HERE.. THIS IS ME" SO ME, RESTING THERE ON THOSE PAGES IN THIS INCREDIBLE BOOK.🥺🥺 I just- I felt so so understood and seen and idk this book is A TREASURE. AND I LOVE YOU ADDIE, I LOVE YOU AND I UNDERSTAND YOU, I FEEL YOU AND I KNOW YOU WOULD UNDERSTAND ME.
I remember you.

And -I wonder, if someday, someday, three hundred years from now- a daydreaming girl wanders through one of the last real bookstores and finds this exact book in her hands and she'll take it with her bc of a feeling and at this very moment she doesn't know the impact of this book, how it's going to affect her, how much she will love it- and then she reads it and she can't stop and it's so so worth losing sleep over- and then she finishes it and just sits there,(a bit sad that it's over,sad about the ending, but so happy she found it) arms around this book and stares blankly and for a while she isn't able to move or talk or do something else and then.. she will smile and think about how centuries ago something was written that speaks so much from her soul like nothing else ever has-
AND IDK I JUST WANT TO SAY THAT VICTORIA SCHWAB CREATED SOMETHING THAT SHOULD AND HOPEFULLY DOES SURVIVE FOR CENTURIES AND THAT THOSE FUTURE DREAMERS WILL SOMEDAY PICK IT UP AND FEEL UNDERSTOOD AND LESS ALONE. IT HURTS TO READ THE LAST PAGE AND CLOSE IT. LUCKILY WE CAN OPEN IT AND START HER STORY AGAIN. ALSO JUST LET ME SAY SOMETHING TO DESCRIBE THE ENDING: AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH-
