Exactly!!! This has been my realization since the one doctor who knew nothing about me tried to prescribe medication for something without ever seeing what the problem was (she didn't even talk to me she came in with my paperwork i filled out front, and the perception already written), and as I asked what is the medication for she said pain. So, i said, I came to find out what is causing the pain, not to cover it up. Her response was that the medication would make it feel better until it went away, and she walked out never answering the question of WHAT was causing the pain in the first place. That was my first realization that doctors don't help. :(
