I love rereading series though, especially ones where there are so many plot twists and surprises thrown at the readers that rereading honestly helps you pick up on slight things or hints you missed.

This is probably my favorite book in the series right now. Please Maas get the last book released! The suspense absolutely kills.

This book's storyline I felt was constantly flowing. The only slow moments that may have been a little too much were the love scenes between Aelin and Rowan, however they have been much awaited for for two books now so we can really let that slide. I feel as if Maas has definitely taken a more mature approach to this book. Each character plays such a vital role to the storyline and its progression. I found that I had to flip back pages, and sometimes even chapters, to fully understand the little tricks that Aelin had made. Just when you think you know what is going to happen, Maas throws a curve ball and proves that you knew as much or thought you knew exactly what the other supporting characters knew. Aelin is honestly 10 steps ahead of the reader and her characters the whole time.

There were many chapters I felt as if I was at the edge of my chair with anticipation and worry for the dangers they encounter. I feel as if I have become so wrapped up within the characters that I am always worrying for each one, with the emphasis of worry stressed over the couples that I want to see last too.

I have had the hardest time trying to find a new book series to connect to since the Harry Potter world. Now, I am not comparing the two series, nor am I claiming this series has replaced the Harry Potter franchise completely, but I will say the Throne of Glass series has helped fill that void that I know my other Harry Potter fans will agree we have had in our hearts since 2007.

All I can say now is, thank you Sarah J. Maas for bringing the Throne of Glass series to paper. This would be such an amazing series to bring to the movie or TV screens! ...more "
