A college professor is seriously ill and alumna brings carrier bags of deli food to his home each week. Poorly Morrie cannot possibly eat all this but he is pleased to see his talented pupil for whom he had predicted success at Graduation. Ablom writes clearly about the awkwardness of death and the gifts that the very old or very ill can still pass to their friends and family.
