This is what I think every single time an average Joe does this in the movies. It would have to be two people in perfect shape with 6 packs and immaculate upper body strength PLUS vice grips, the one “catching” much larger than the person that’s dangling OR a strongish adult grasping a child OR a genuine miracle, to make the one-arm lift feat possible. 💪🏼 I’m not in bad shape. I’m not overweight. I would ABSOLUTELY fall (possibly die) due to my lifelong inability to do a pull-up unless the person is able to lift dead weight of 135lb; anyone I’m trying to help would die unless they can pull themselves up. The best I could do is try my very damndest to anchor myself in place for them lol. It’s the best I could realistically do! But I’d try!
