"16 pages in and I’m already wondering what I’ve gotten myself into - this is very dark already but there’s some level of explaining of the lore that I’m not quite sure I’m enjoying how it’s phrased - more fanfic adjacent lore drop than I’d typically expect in a published book - but I’m not completely put off yet.
