The word “understanding” in the Hebrew is SAKAL (Strong, 1996) H7919. This means “to understand, be wise, prudent and have insight regarding the promises of God in such a way that will bring success” (Joshua 1:8).
This is awesome. When I have my singing lessons, I am taught to always be a step ahead of the words I am singing, to pre-empt the words. To think on the words that I am singing. Focus on what is coming so that the end execution is it's best. This gives me time to meditate on the words to understand their meaning.
“A woman of true beauty is a woman who in the depths of her soul is at rest, trusting God because she has come to know Him to be worthy of her trust. She exudes a sense of calm, a sense of rest and invites those around her to rest as well. She speaks comfort; she knows that we live in a world at war, that we have a vicious enemy, and our journey is through a broken world. But she also knows that because of God all is well, that all will be well. A woman of true beauty offers others the grace to be and the room to become. In her presence, we can release the tension and pressure that so often grip our hearts. We can also breathe in the truth that God loves us and He is good.”

“Instead of asking, 'What should a woman do—what is her role?' it would be far more helpful to ask, 'What is a woman—what is her design?' and, 'Why did God place Woman in our midst?”

“The biggest coward of a man is to awaken the love of a woman without the intention of loving her.”

Like the incessant gurgle of the brook,
The longing of the spirit can never be stilled.”

That perches on the soul,
And sings the tune without words,
And never stops at all.”
