Well, this book took my breath away. It went in so many different directions, I just fell in love with every single component. Such a swooning, sad, happy, and incredible package, you simply need to give it a go.

This book is a slow burn, second chance friendship, a love story that was so well written, it was hard to think of it as just 'a book'. It felt like I was watching a movie with popcorn and front-row seats. Jennifer's writing just flows from page to page and I could visually see Gabe and Sydney conversing before my eyes. This book had lots of funny banter btw BFFs, funny animals, quirky neighbors. It had the main plot which was the friendship btw Oliver & Sydney. It had the sadness of Oliver and his 22 years' absence and it had to be love that blossomed from friends to lovers. There was also a mystery component with lots of things being revealing things I didn't see coming.

Sydney is this beautiful human that you will totally love. She wears her heart on her sleeve, loves her family and her friends but is missing a piece of herself and has for a very long time. When Oliver comes back into her life she is beside herself but not sure with which emotions to use and how.

Oliver, you are in for a real treat with him, because he is utterly gorgeous. He is all man and HOT man he is!!! Tall, muscled, smells amazing, very polite, elegantly spoken, and a real gentleman. He resembles a young boy trapped inside a man's body, and boy is he a fast learner. The heat btw Syndey and Oliver was a pleasure to witness, especially that massage scene on the couch!!

This book was set in the POV of both characters and I loved it very much, in fact, i have a copy on its way to sit on my bookshelf right now. I would highly recommend you read 'Still Breathing' first because there are characters that make appearances in this book and while it may not be essential, it will keep you in the loop so you don't feel lost.

Well done Jennifer!! I don't know how you come up with these incredible stories, but I loved it!!
