"I usually dislike reading short stories and often struggle to find the point of reading them. But I’m on the course of reading everything written by Murakami and by everything I mean everything. But at slow pace, cause life is too short, however it can feel too long if you don’t have a murakami book to make it more bearable." 10 hours, 30 min ago

"out of the dystopian trio, Brave New World is the book I haven’t yet read. I finished the first chapter and I can say this is genius, the amount of research and knowledge you need to have to explain these processes in the lab is not a joke. I genuinely don’t even know how does a person think of such idea of a plot. This will not be your typical book. Thrilling start." Mar 22, 2026 05:34PM

"I’ve had this book on my tbr for like three years now, so it finally feels like the right time to start it. I just finished the first chapter, and my expectations are hella high since it basically won every award out there. I’m really liking the writing so far. I’m guessing the beginning will mostly be character building and setting things up, but it already reminds me of Little Life, which I absolutely loved." Mar 19, 2026 10:14AM

Haruki Murakami
“I think you still love me, but we can’t escape the fact that I’m not enough for you. I knew this was going to happen. So I’m not blaming you for falling in love with another woman. I’m not angry, either. I should be, but I’m not. I just feel pain. A lot of pain. I thought I could imagine how much this would hurt, but I was wrong.”
