Also, I thought it was very unpredictable-you never know what's going to happen next. Some books, although good, are a bit predictable. This was not like that at all. I love this book and I believe everyone should join the adventure with Risa, Connor, and Lev.

I really loved Unwind by Neal Shusterman. One of the aspects I liked about it was how each chapter was in a different perspective. I enjoyed seeing each character, Risa, Conner, and Lev's perspectives. It gave me a new view in each chapter and it also helped me understand what was going on. Furthermore, this book kept me interested the whole way. The author incorporated different ways to keep me eager to read on, including adding new characters or new character's perspectives every so often. All in all, this book definitely kept me excited to read every page, and I loved that the author had many different ways to keep me this interested.

Unwind by Neal Shusterman was the most thrilling book I read this year.The book is an extremely fascinating concept. The fact that parents could decide to have their troubled kid unwound between the ages of 13 and 18 is really disturbing but makes for a great book. I liked how Connor, Risa and Lev all came from different backgrounds and escaped in different ways but ended up in the same situation. The thrill of reading as all three of the main characters attempt to survive makes this book a page-turner and makes me want to keep on reading. I also enjoyed how it wasn't just a book about how they survive in the wilderness, Neal Shusterman incorporates many new aspects of an AWOL Unwind's life such as The Graveyard or the home that they stayed in before The Graveyard. This separates it from all the other books about runaways because it is such a wild concept. Even though the concept is pretty strange, there are still many aspects of the book that are easy to relate to such as their age or their feelings for one another. Overall this was a great book to read and it kept interested the whole way through.

Unwind by Neal Shusterman is a book about a dystopian society that supports post-natal abortion, which means parents can “unwind” their child after a certain age, taking apart the child and donating their body parts to hospitals and other people who need them. It’s about three kids who are about to be unwound, but two of them escape and kidnap the third. In the eyes of Conner Lassiter, he is a kid who gets into lots of fights, so his parents schedule him to be unwound. He finds out by snooping through his parents’ papers and runs away. He gets caught and escapes by running from the truck. On his way across the freeway, he sees a kid in white clothes, a tithe, which is a kid who the parent donates to God by unwinding him. This tithe is Lev Conner and he kidnaps him to save him from being unwound. They meet Risa, who was being unwound because she was in a state home and they didn’t have enough room to keep her. The story is about how these kids try to end the practice of unwinding. I really enjoyed the use of language and how I could connect with the characters through the entire novel.

Unwind by Neal Shusterman is an amazing science fiction book about the concept of unwinding. Between the ages of 13 and 18 a parent has the option of unwinding their child. When someone is unwound they are essentially taken apart so their body parts live on in other peoples body, the solution to the second civil war about pro-life. When three kids are signed off to be unwound they run away and go AWOL. With cops after them they must escape. Their adventure takes them places unexpected. This is an outstanding book I would definitely recommend.

Unwind, by Neal Shusterman, was one of the best books I have ever read. This compelling, science fiction novel takes place in a futuristic world, where abortions are forbidden but unwinding is legal. "Unwinding" means parents can sign a contract when their kids are between ages 13-18 to have %99.44 of them taken apart and donated for transplants. Unwinding was the solution to the pro-life vs. pro-choice civil war that America had. This book is about three, different kids, who were all on their way to get unwound. This tells the story of how they escape, and their unexpected, fascinating adventure. I would recommend this book to people who like science fiction and adventure books, or someone who is looking for an enthralling page turner. In the end, this was by far one of the most phenomenal books I have ever read.
