Some of what I read, I've been doing for some time .. for example, connecting with people by taking notice in something in/on/around/ or about them that catches my eye .. and taking the time to compliment or ask about it.

Its about letting people know they have been 'seen'"

progress:  On page 59. "I'm not the sort to read through the content page .. I like to read things as they are presented .. The book starts, of course with Teddy .. and provides the set up .. and then it pokes in here and there about Franklin .. and then hints at Eleanor .. so I'm at the point in the book where you get the 'connection' to who all the players are .. and how much older Teddy is .. and where it's all going .." Victor Borge
“Laughter is the shortest distance between two people.”
Victor Borge

It takes courage to grow up and become who you really are.
“It takes courage to grow up and become who you really are.”
E.E. Cummings

Steve Jobs
“Here's to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They're not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can't do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
Steve Jobs

Kurt Vonnegut Jr.
“Laughter and tears are both responses to frustration and exhaustion. I myself prefer to laugh, since there is less cleaning up to do afterward.”
Kurt Vonnegut

Ralph Waldo Emerson
“Don't be too timid and squeamish about your actions. All life is an experiment. The more experiments you make the better.”
Ralph Waldo Emerson, Journals Of Ralph Waldo Emerson, With Annotations - 1841-1844
