"Just finished the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. It was great. I had known the story was taken from points of the Christian gospel, and only having seen the movie a dozen times, I had decided to read the book to see how exactly C.S. Lewis did so. Remembering this is only a fairytale meant for his goddaughter, there is obvious things in the story that I don't see in relation to Christian doctrine. Good read though" — Feb 16, 2022 04:34AM

“In religion, as in war and everything else, comfort is the one thing you cannot get by looking for it. If you look for truth, you may find comfort in the end: if you look for comfort you will not get either comfort or truth -- only soft soap and wishful thinking to begin with and, in the end, despair.”
