"I wish I had read this 20 years ago. I wish everyone I’ve ever dated had read this. The sheer amount of ignorance, shaming, misinformation, denial, and abuse around women’s sexual pleasure is so prevalent is undeniably systemic. The social, medical, cultural, and religious systems have worked to keep women from understanding and finding their own pleasure. Women perpetuate it nearly as much as men." — May 29, 2025 10:01AM

"I’m loving the tension between the two; the physicality of their interactions telling us more than some droning inner monolog. I love the weather and the water.
I could stand for some better descriptions of the characters and settings, not an excessive amount, but they’re so generic most of the time, leaving all of the details up to the reader’s imagination, that the characters feel fake and without form." — Mar 23, 2025 07:41AM
