I need to discuss the ending real quick, because I just read it and holy mother of Jesus. she's a manipulator. that's the only way you can look at it. She fabricated that entire letter the minute she realized that Lowen found her manuscript. She knew that eventually low would show it to Jermey so she needed to find a way to pair her in the best light, make herself innocent. Im not gonna lie, at first she almost had me, but do you know what made me without a doubt believe that she fabricated the entire thing? it was when she claimed that Jermey tried to kill her in the car accident. LIKE no fucking way. Also the way she writes and tries to paint herself the victim, she's absolutely gaslighting him, come on people. like by the time I finished reading her letter, I rolled my eyes at least 10 times

can we talk about how terrifying that was? like I'm not gonna lie I almost threw my book like It was a jump scare a couple times. why did I conjure such a vivid image of Verity on her hands and knees crawling on the floor. holy crap it's scaring me just thinking about it.

I honestly don't think that Jeremy read the manuscript before only because he was SO mad a Lowen when he saw her trying to take Verity out of the bed. and then after when he actually did read the manuscript he believed Lowen.

Lowen and Jeremy's relationship was cute but if I'm being complete honest, I couldn't rust no one in this book, not even Lowen! when she tried to keep the semen in her body by lifting up her legs, hello?? or when she had that dream about crew grown up JUST like verity had that dream about Chastin and Harper? No. Nope. Not today satan. And even poor little Crew terrified me. Im sorry but everytime he said something about his mother I was immediately like, 'your done. your done'. now don't even get me started on Jermey. when I was on page 178, I literally wrote in my notes, "HES TOO NICE THERES JUST NO WAY HE ISNT FUCKED UP". like the fucking parania and grief miss hoover put me though is unforgivable.

now for my overall review: this book was super fast paced, literally ate this book up in 2 days, it was on my mind all throughout school and work. I know no one will ever read this unless they actually read the book because of all the spoilers but I just wanted to say that it was a great mffing book. the love was a little rushed and I feel like Lowen developed a crush on manuscript Jeremey before actual Jeremy but imma let it slide. time to go buy my next colleen hoover book ...more "
