They care about one another even though they couldn't be more different. I mean, if they didn't, Lev would have not have tried to help blow up the Chop Shop. "I think that Ronan is hard on the outside but inside he really cares for Gansey. Ronan tries to seem tough and act like nothing bothers him but I think that when it comes down to it, he will do anything to save his friend.
